There are many people here who will like the rooting stuff if only they see the advantages in it, so u can root ur device and share some wonderful features u are enjoying, some followers will ask questions just be around to answer them

There's nothing new under the sun including modding & tweaking of smartphone. Most folks you see here have been there, done that. In fact when you've got more important things to do, constantly rejigging your phone just to change how it looks or add marginally negligible features will be the least of your problems.

Someone asked a question earlier which you pretend not to see so I'll ask once one. When you've rallied people to start modding & tweaking their devices & the noobs start bricking their phones, will you be here to help them sort their issues out?

U are mixing things up... Nobody is discouraging anyone from using his or her phone for adventure. Custom ROM is cool (it is even not perfect), that doesn't nullify the fact that a newbie can get his phone bricked, even after taking time to read. It's just a disclaimer, don't take it as if some people mandated it on this thread that u shouldn't flash Ur phone anyone.

Am sure you ain't a newbie here, there were times when every new member that joined the thread back then tot if they don't root and flash their Xiaomi phones they can't enjoy it. This notion was built up in them cos of the way most gurus were discussing about rooting and flashing, making them being mislead.

Rem, it's ur phone, u are free to do whatever u want to do with it.

Everyone has options, the way it's sounding it's as if you enjoy your device more than those on miui. By multitask you mean? Most persons don't need over 10 apps opened simultaneously. If Miui is bad why is this thread this trendy? Why does virtually every new user of Xiaomi stick with Xiaomi? It's definitely because of the sweet mix of miui with a solid hardware. The credit goes to Miui not any custom rom out there. If I may ask, how many skinned Android fare better than miui, because by my unfounded estimate, over 75% of Android users use Skinned Android .

Seyema, I still fail to get the point you are trying to make. Great that you could root and flash a custom ROM on your phone and that is simply because you KNOW your way around it. What mentality are you even referring to? An average person wants to be able to literally "plug n play" with his her or her brand new device and if they by any chance want to explore their phones it is on them to do extensive research and see if it will be worth it and fwiw no one has come at people talking about custom ROMs, we just plead that it should be limited cos noobs would get confused.

Yes... It is and I didn't regret it then because it was by was by own mistake( flashing Redmi 4X rom on note 4x) and sure if the person that brought my phone back to life have had this same mentality like most people here have, it wouldn't be able to do anything on the phone.
Mind you, I root the phone immediately I got it back and put miuipro on it
