Honestly speaking, Its best you lodge the complaint yourself at the PG school if you can travel down to Ibadan. That way, if the PG officers wants to try to immediately resolve the problem, you'll be available to present any sort of document they may need.

Walk into the link road opposite UI school gate and ask of the hotel. You won't need to walk to far. Their rates are:
N3000 and N3500 per night.

P.S.: Sorry for not replying earlier.

Also, spending 11 days(duration of the special CS lecture) at the hotel will require a budget of at least N33,000 for accommodation. Well that's not small money sha. I'm seeking for an alternative source of accommodation if possible OR at least a subsidized rate at the hotel

Pls be informed that a special one-week intensive training on Data Modelling is scheduled to take place as from Tue 14/5/2015 next week with Prof Amos and Co from France.

It is compulsory for the newly admitted Master students to attend this course as it would form part of their databases (MCS 722 and CSC 747) courses' results. Failure to attend it this time means you have automatically postponed the course till next year.

Doctoral students are enjoined to attend the course. 

The time schedules are as provided below.

@Ehissi have you done your clearance, and applied for accommodation? I have not been scheduled for clearance, therefore can't apply for hostel accomodation. I don't live in Ibadan, and for now, any time I travel to UI, I have to stay in a hotel. Do you have an alternative accommodation strategy that is working for you? Please let me know if any....cause hotel accommodation for one week won't be easy.
