if the sun stops rotating for even a minute, the solar system as we know it will flew off its axis or collapse into each other and the outcome cannot even be imagined.

The sun or the moon or the earth standing still is a figment of unenlightened imagination.

We're on the same page sir. They weren't enlightened scientifically about it then due to their time so they probably thought the sun goes and comes while the earth stays. Many even thought the earth was flat then.

They were not scientifically enlightened like our time to know the earth revolves round the sun not the other way round so we can forgive them for thinking the sun stood still since it wasn't night yet.
