I lost all my songs but 'MP3 Music Downloader' is doing me real good. That app is more better than Mewseek I used to use when I was jailbroken. You can even download a song from NairaLand to ya phone. Just cool. ![]() |
I've even started to wait. |
It's around ₦87,000 and ₦90,000
Chei! Could this be a brand new iPhone 5 price?
|
sinade1: Iyami! So painful. I am very sorry & sure it won't happen again. Thanks, man. It can never happen again. Was just my first time. |
sinade1: Abasi mbo! ℓ☺ℓ.Sinade1, fone mmi ado ata empty. |
thanks, I just checked out both tweaks but unfortunately they ain't compatible with iPhone 5. Still painful tho *sad face* |
Yea...
Iyami! Almost 13gb of stuff gone in one day. Damn! |
I mean when you check anything, before disconnecting ur phone.... click backup again
So, I can't get back those things? |
then always remember to click backup again
What do I have to backup again? My phone is just empty. Just me, my browser and I. But, Soft-Touch, since I didn't tick that thing does it mean I didn't backup those things I've not seen again? And does that mean I can't get em back no matter what? The most painful thing is that this app is the only thing left on my phone after it made me wipe my phone.

MuchG: Please in the name of Jesus Christ. I need to know how to use Mtn BIS in my iphone4? I have subscribed to daily to test it. I edited the APN as "blackberry.netThat thang doesn't work anymore. |
It does. But you must be sure you check those items that needed backup as shown
Chei!! I didn't check that o. |
Soft-Touch, answer me na. |
It goes back to edge.....
Maybe the 3G signal isn't strong in that area. |
lol. Well you can get it yourself at manga plaza in kaduna. yes sir
There's a price I'd find for a used i4S and I'd run away from it. So, the price(70k) that guy gave wasn't too bad for you to spoil his biz. |
No service of course. The option is made available in blackberry. 2G,3G,2G&3G. I use the only 3G option in my bb, it's the reason am asking if there is a Jb tweak for it.
But you have the 3G option on iPhone. Why not just turn it on and leave it at that? Or does it switch back to 2G when you set it to 3G? |
It does if you have them in your iTunes .
But I didn't get my apps, songs and vids when I restored. I only got back pix, notes, messages, contacts and settings. |
Soft-Touch, doesn't iTunes backup apps, music and vids, other than pix, notes, settings? |
lol, 4s 70k. Oga! I can get u one for 55k. Minus 1k for every scratch you see on the phone.
55k no too much? Na 20k e 4 be. Mtcheeew. |
I restored a backup I did but didn't find my songs, vids, games and other apps. What's going on? Any ideas? |
shady16: Please can someone tell me how long it takes to backup an iPhone. I had 5 games that was about 4.6gb in all. My 6 musical vids totaled 574mb, and songs were about 251mb. Other apps on the phone 366mb. Now, with this size on the phone, please could someone estimate how much time it'd take to backup all these stuff? When I did the backup, the time frame was about 8-10mins. Is it possible for the backup to use that time to backup those files?Doesn't iTunes backup apps as well as songs/vids? |

Ok.. when I restored my backup a few mins ago I didn't see my games, vids, songs and the rest of the apps I had when I did the backup. The only things I found back on my phone were my pix, contacts, messages, notes and settings. I've never been pissed off with this phone ever since I bought it the way I was when I discovered this. Just felt like leaving it on the cooker to burn out. Unless there is something I'm missing, could someone tell me if the backup was not done within that time frame or what could be the problem? |
The link will guide you on how to RE-RESTORE your iOS 5.1.1 on your 4S, you may JB later.
Thanks, man. But I didn't save any SHSH blobs as stated there. Thanks anyway. |
@shady16: Check this link below read how to restore ur 4s on 5.1.1 hxxp://m.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=25156
Hi, thanks for that. But I already deleted Cydia from my phone. And I guess without it this phone is not jailbroken as it is now. My headache is how to restore it now. |
lynxnoon: sorry Bro . . . my badMehn, you don't need to tell me. I've been dwelling on google all day since this shit started. But this Mywi thing is extremely stubborn. I even managed to make my Cydia allow me install/uninstall again by cutting and pasting som' from trash on iFile which I mistakenly deleted and everything worked again. That was when I installed iLEX RESTORE and I applied the 'Restore 1', every tweak was erased from my phone but Mywi refused to leave. I applied 'Restore 2', and this time all my apps that didn't even come from Cydia were erased and my phone was just like the first day I bought it. After all the initial setup, just like it was the first day this phone was powered on. After all my apps had gone I was surprised and angry to see Mywi still on the phone. Now when I tried installing new stuff from Cydia, I noticed that installing/uninstalling was impossible again, and this time there was no more iFile for me to go and check if there's anything I could do. Everything is so bleeped up now. Since the Cydia and the jailbreak is now useless to me I tried restoring the phone to factory settings. But when I did this, I waited for 2 hours yet my phone was loading indefinitely.... the way it does when it is put off. That thing was turning for 2 hours and I started wondering what could be wrong that it took eternity to finish up. I had to google how long it takes to restore an iPhone. That was when I read that if a phone is jailbroken, trying to restore it by going to setting on the phone and applying the 'erase all content and settings' won't work, and that the phone will load forever. That was when I discontinued the indefinite loading thang it was doing. So I don't know what to do again o. |
lynxnoon: full restore should resolve it but to come back to 5.1.1 and preserve baseband u definitely need to have save the shsh blob file for 5.1.1Thanks. But I have no idea what you guys mean by SHSH blob and all of that. |
If it's an iPhone 4, use iFaith to dump the SHSH, then build a custom firmware with that SHSH and restore. If it's an iPhone 4S, perform Semi-Restore with "Semi-Restore". Make sure you have your iPhone back-up before trying either method. Make u no go later talk say Na Suntemi teach u wrong thing o.
Lol .... You don't teach wrongly, Suntech. It's a 4S and I tried Semi-Restore severally but it kept ending at stage 2 telling me an error occurred.... That I should be sure the jailbreak was well done and bla bla bla... What I suspect that could be causing all these problems is that I mistakenly deleted something like this 'usr/bin/dpkg' from iFile while I was trying to manually delete Mywi that was causing problems. And ever since then I'm unable to install or uninstall anything with Cydia. Every time I try removing or installing som' I always get an error message that goes like ... "Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (100)". So, I think even Semi-Restore can't fix this problem. I was thinking of restoring it and jailbreaking again. But my question is if after restoring will I still be on 5.1.1, and is there still crack for 5.1.1 at this time? |
shady16: Hello, |
shady16: Hello,Please does anyone know this? |
Hello, I want to reset my phone to factory settings. Please is jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1 (Absinthe is what I used) still available and can I still crack it after the reset? Also will it still remain on 5.1.1 after the reset? |
Yea... It is always a good culture to backup your iPhone.
Alright, sir. Thanks. |
I'm afraid U can't, Sir. U can adjust Ur font size tho and change Ur network name by changing the sim. Bad joke, eh?
"....by changing the sim" Haha... serious joke. |
If u cant do anything with ur Cydia, then download Semi-Restore.... it work from your PC with Phone connected. To download Semi-Restore hxxp://semi-restore.com/ Download the Window version and apply from your window PC
Hello, I want to use Semi-Restore to see if I would be able to solve my prob. Please do I need to back up the apps I got from apple store before I proceed with Semi-Restore? If so, I need guidance on how to back up. Thanks. |
