segzicres: my friend pre-ordered a vehicle from Germany, the dealer told us to come pick it up on a particular date but I told my friend we should go there to pick up same day, we went next day (very early) only to find out someone was waiting for the bank to open to buy the same car,

we got there collected keys, made serious noise, we had to become touts, I mean removing shirts and trouser to make the dealer think we would destroy properties before he finally succumbed.

The person that went to pay came back saw us and then explained how the man told him to quickly pay for it. We later found out that the dealer didn't the car would be that clean and problem free. I realised loads of things from that experience.

These pre order guys don't inspect the cars, they have someone there who wants to make maximum profit, pre order guy wants to make maximum profit, no way you won't get Crappy cars. no bloody way.

Americans see a. car that has more than 100k mileage as a coffin, hence the cheap price. Try pricing same car at 90k mileage and see the price difference. pre order is a scam as far as I'm concerned.
