I was thinking this phone is already in recovery mode cuz that's what the system keeps telling me each time I plug it in. Now my confusion is whether I still need to do the 10 sec holdin of both buttons just to put it in that mode since this phone is already in recovery mode.

See attached picture.[/quote]Thanks for the suggestion, sir. When I tried updating the phone, it was still on 5.1.1 and each time I connect the phone, all iTunes comes up with is 6.1.3. How am I going to make it give me 7? Or can I just download the software from anywhere, would iTunes recognize it? Moreover, how am I goin to put this phone in DFU mode when it has refused to boot up? When I power it on it shows an iTunes logo with USB cable, I thought that shows it's in recovery mode. How could I put it in DFU mode?

Tumababa and all the iTechnicians in the house, please I need help concernin TinyUmbrella(TU).
I want to get my phone outta recovery mode. Just like Baba recommended TU, I installed it today and when I click on 'exit recovery' on the TU my phone attempts to boot by showin the apple logo for a few secs but it switches back to recovery mode. I've tried it several times but I still get the same thing. The TU version I'm usin is the 7.0.00.
One thing I observe is whenever I plug my phone, I expect to see my phone name or just the model name on the 'Recovery devices' list on the TU, but instead I find a 9-digit number on the list of devices found by the TU.

Please any suggestions?

I can't even restore my phone via iTunes cuz it keeps quoting 'error 3194'.

Hello guys,

Please I need help o.. I tried updating my phone from 5.1.1 to 6.1.3 OTA if I'm not mistaken. After the download of 940mb was done, my phone began installin and updatin but at the end of the whole process it got into recovery mode. Since then my phone has been useless.

I decided to restore it with iTunes. I got it plugged to the PC and lunched iTunes and it started downloading the software. After the download it started the extraction and just when it was about to commence with the restore an error message popped up telling me the iPhone can not be restored that an error occurred, quoting an error code '3194'.

I googled this issue and read a lotta articles out there on how to rectify this problem but nothing is just working out.

So, please I need anyone who has faced this kinda problems to assist me on how you resolved yours..please. It's a 4S.
