CrimeWhy 22 Yrs. Old Billionaire Native Dr. Akwa, Must Go To Jail - Gov. Soludo by Shagreenn(op): 3:49pm On Oct 03, 2025
It was dramatic and full with emosion when the Oba youth pleaded with Governor Soludo to free their kingsman Akwa Okuko. Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State in his response to the request made by Oba youths asking for the release of popular native doctor, Akwa Okuko Tiwara Aki, told the youths that the matter is already in court, and because of that, his hands are tied. He explained that there is a process to follow and only the court can decide the case for now.

He also said that, the court must first finish its work. If he is later found guilty, that is when leaders can come and beg for a pardon,” Soludo said.
The governor also advised the youths not to focus on “fast money” or easy riches. He said Akwa Okuko had misled many young people with such ideas, but Oba community is known for hard work and honesty, not shortcuts.

Soludo further noted that he has forgiven many people who trespassed, but in Akwa Okuko’s case, he must wait for the court to decide before taking any step. Watch the video

CrimeNnamdi Kanu Cries Out: ‘they Are Killing Me Slowly In DSS Detention’ by Shagreenn(op): 5:03pm On Sep 27, 2025
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has raised alarm about his health and treatment in detention. He said that his life is in danger and that he is “being killed slowly” while held by Nigeria’s Department of State Services (DSS).

Kanu’s family and supporters believe he is not getting proper medical attention. They claim: He is often denied access to his personal doctors. Drugs for his treatment are sometimes bought from roadside pharmacies instead of proper hospitals. At times, he has gone days without being given his prescribed medicine. His family, in an open letter to Southeastern governors, said Kanu is “dying slowly and painfully” and begged leaders to step in before it is too late.

The IPOB group has accused the DSS of trying to silence Kanu through poor detention conditions. They say the government is ignoring court rulings that ordered his release and are deliberately keeping him in harsh conditions. The DSS has not admitted to mistreating Kanu. Officials usually insist that he is safe in their custody and that he is being kept under the law. However, critics say the government is not being transparent about his health. In some statements, Kanu has sounded defiant. Even while complaining about his condition, he said spending another year in detention “will not kill” him. But his supporters fear that his health is worsening with each passing day.

Nnamdi Kanu’s case has become more than a legal battle. It now raises questions about human rights, fair trial, and government accountability in Nigeria. Supporters believe if nothing is done soon, the IPOB leader may not survive detention.

CrimeUPDATE: How John Samuel, A Notorious Armed Robber Was Arrested by Shagreenn(op): 8:35am On Sep 27, 2025
One hot afternoon in Lagos, something terrible happened. A man called John Samuel decided to do something very bad.
John Samuel had just come out of prison. He had spent six long years there because of armed robbery. Many people thought prison would change him. They thought that maybe, when he came out, he would try to live a good life. He could have started fresh. He could have worked hard. He could have stayed away from trouble. But John Samuel did not change. His heart was still dark. Instead of peace, he chose violence. Instead of honest work, he chose crime.

It was August 18, 2025. The place was Allen Avenue in Ikeja, one of the busiest parts of Lagos. Traders were calling out to customers. Cars were honking. Motorcycles were rushing through traffic. Everybody was busy with their own business. In the middle of this busy street was a man called Gbenga Obama. He was a businessman. Around his neck, he wore a shiny gold necklace. The necklace sparkled in the sun. John Samuel saw him. He wanted that necklace. He wanted it badly. Without warning, John Samuel pulled out a gun — a small but deadly English pistol. Before anyone could stop him, he raised the gun, pointed it at Gbenga, and pulled the trigger.

People screamed. Some ran for cover. Others froze in fear. Gbenga cried out as the bullet struck him. Blood stained his clothes. He fell to the ground in pain. But John Samuel did not care. He bent down, snatched the gold necklace, and took other valuables from Gbenga. Then he looked up. His friend was waiting nearby on a motorcycle. The engine was already running. John Samuel jumped on the bike. In a flash, they sped away, disappearing into the chaos of Ikeja traffic. The whole attack took only seconds. But for the people who saw it, it felt like a nightmare that would not end.

Everyone thought John Samuel had escaped. But there was one thing he did not notice. On the street, high above the road, was a CCTV camera. Quiet. Still. Watching. That camera saw everything. It saw the moment John Samuel raised his gun.
It saw him fire at Gbenga. It saw him bend down to take the necklace. It even saw him run to the waiting motorcycle and escape. The police later collected the video. They studied it again and again. The face was clear. The robber was John Samuel. Meanwhile, Gbenga was rushed to the hospital. He was badly wounded, and people feared for his life. Doctors worked quickly, trying to save him.

By God’s grace, Gbenga survived. After days of treatment, he became strong enough to leave the hospital. His life had been spared, but he would never forget the day a stranger’s bullet almost ended everything. The police now had their suspect. And John Samuel was no stranger to them. They already knew him very well. He had been in their records for years. He had a reputation for being vicious. He was the kind of robber who shot first and stole later. He had just been released from prison in August, and instead of keeping quiet, he went back to crime — and became even worse. The Lagos State Police Command decided they could not allow him to continue. They began their hunt.

Day after day, they followed every clue. They listened to whispers on the street. They traced his movements. They watched the places he used to visit. Slowly, carefully, they closed in. Then, they discovered something important. John Samuel was hiding in Epe. That was his safe house. That was where he thought no one could find him. But the police were already on his trail. On September 19, 2025, at exactly 2 p.m., the police made their move. Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command surrounded his hideout in Epe. The officers were ready. The tension was high. Everyone knew this man was dangerous.

But the operation was quick and successful. John Samuel was captured. This time, there was no escape. The man who thought he could shoot and run was finally in handcuffs. At the police station, John Samuel was questioned. He confessed openly. He said he had sold the stolen gold necklace for only ₦4 million. The necklace was worth far more than that, but criminals often sell valuable items cheaply just to get fast money. His confession sealed his fate. The evidence was complete.
News of the arrest spread across Lagos. People were relieved. A dangerous criminal was finally off the streets.

” Now John Samuel will face the law. His days of robbery and violence are over. The police are still looking for the friends who helped him escape on that motorcycle, and when they are caught, they too will face justice. For the people of Lagos, this story is a reminder. No matter how fast a criminal runs, the law is always faster.

And for every person thinking about choosing the path of crime, the lesson is clear: crime does not pay.

PoliticsNnamdi Kanu’s Lawyer Reveeals The Injustice Playing Out In Court (VIDEO) by Shagreenn(op): 2:46am On Sep 27, 2025
Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer has spoken out about what he calls injustice in the way his client’s case is being handled in court, especially regarding his health.

He explained that Kanu is not receiving proper medical care even though the court has given orders for him to be treated. According to the lawyer, the authorities are ignoring these orders, putting Kanu’s health at serious risk.

The lawyer said this is unfair and dangerous because every person, no matter their case, has the right to good medical treatment. He also added that the refusal to follow court rulings shows clear bias and lack of respect for the rule of law.

He called on the judges to act without fear or favor and urged the government to allow doctors to attend to Kanu immediately. He warned that ignoring Kanu’s health problems is not only an injustice to him but also a threat to justice in the whole country.

CrimeHow Gov. Hope Sent Me To K!ll Hon Ikenga Imo,kidnap For Him,bought Weed For Us by Shagreenn(op): 2:23am On Sep 22, 2025
This is a breaking crime report from Imo State, Nigeria.
A notorious figure known as Gentle De Yahoo, alleged commander of armed groups in the South-East, has sparked a storm of controversy after a video surfaced online. In the clip, he reportedly claims that Imo State Governor sponsored kidnappings, car thefts, and violent attacks across the region. Even asked them to go after his opponents.. The video, which is still unverified, shows Gentle De Yahoo alleging that he and his men were contracted by the governor to create unrest. This confession has fueled debate, especially as IPOB and its security wing, the ESN, continue to insist they are being falsely blamed for violence in Imo.

Just days ago, Nigerian Army troops raided Gentle De Yahoo’s hideout in Aku Ihube, Okigwe. The operation left five of his fighters dead, including two deputies. But the fate of Gentle De Yahoo himself remains unclear—some reports say he escaped, others claim he was captured.Governor Uzodimma has not yet issued a direct response to the allegations. IPOB’s spokesman insists the confession proves state actors are behind the crisis, while security agencies warn that misinformation may be part of a wider propaganda war.

For now, the questions remain: Is the confession genuine? Did Gentle De Yahoo work with state officials? And what really happened to him after the raid? Stay tuned as we continue to follow this developing story.” Watch the video.

CrimeUPDATE: The Reason Why NURTW Chief Beat Dispatch Rider To Death (VIDEO) by Shagreenn(op): 3:15pm On Sep 19, 2025
This is so pathetic, a situation that is very avoidable.
He is a young dispatch rider—someone’s son, someone’s breadwinner. His only crime was that he set out on his daily hustle as usual, weaving through traffic, delivering parcels, and trying to earn an honest living. But that day would be his last. His only “crime”? His motorcycle allegedly brushed against the vehicle of Shamsideen Adio, a feared NURTW chief, known on the streets not for leadership, but for violence. Witnesses recall the moment. Voices were raised, tempers flared. The rider pleaded, explaining it was a mistake. But Adio wasn’t listening. Rage consumed him. He lunged at the rider, fists flying. Soon, others—his men—joined in.

The beating was brutal as seen in the video. Each blow landed not just on the body of the rider, but on the dignity of a man struggling to survive in a city that already takes so much from its people. He cried out, but his voice was drowned by the mob. Until, finally, he fell silent. The dispatch rider lay lifeless on the same street where just hours before, he had been alive with hope, chasing his daily bread. What makes this even more heartbreaking? This wasn’t the first time. Journalist Chris Nwandu revealed that only days earlier, Adio had attacked a tricycle operator who barely escaped with his life. His violence was a shadow that loomed over Lagos Island. And yet, no one stopped him—until a young man paid the ultimate price.

Police have confirmed the arrest of Adio. But for the rider’s family, justice can never replace the son, the brother, the husband, the father—who left home in the morning, but never returned. This is more than just a story of one man’s temper. It is a reflection of a deeper problem—a culture of fear and unchecked power, where lives are cut short over the smallest of disputes. And so, Lagos mourns again. A city where a simple scratch on a car ended a life full of promise. watch the video.

CrimeUPDATE: How The Nigerian Army Captured Gentle De Yahoo (VIDEO) by Shagreenn(op): 4:02am On Sep 17, 2025
There was jubilation in Okigwe, Imo state as the news of the arrest of the separatist leader, Gentle De Yahoo spread in the region. In the early hours of Tuesday morning, the Nigerian Army confirmed a daring and well-coordinated raid on the hideout of a notorious militant commander known as Gentle De Yahoo, real name Ifeanyi Eze Okorienta, in Aku-Ihube community, Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State. The raid, which was carried out by troops of the 34 Brigade under the 82 Division, has been described as one of the most daring anti-terror operations in the South-East in recent months.

According to security sources, troops had been tracking the movements of Gentle De Yahoo for weeks. He was alleged to be the mastermind of multiple attacks on security operatives, kidnappings, and armed robberies across Imo and neighbouring Abia. Intelligence reports indicated that his hideout in the thick forests of Okigwe served as both a training camp and armoury for his fighters, some of whom were said to be women.

Determined to neutralize the threat, the Army designed a commando-style infiltration plan. Troops reportedly walked for nearly four hours through dense terrain, avoiding the main roads to prevent detection. Their target: surround Gentle De Yahoo’s fortified hideout under the cover of darkness. As dawn approached, soldiers encircled the building. But the operation quickly turned violent. From rooftops and hidden positions, fighters loyal to Gentle De Yahoo opened fire, forcing the troops into a heavy exchange of gunfire.

Realizing the intensity of resistance, the Army responded with superior firepower. Reports indicate that the troops eventually set the building on fire after it became clear the militants were dug in and firing from elevated positions.
At the end of the fierce battle, the Nigerian Army confirmed the deaths of five members of the gang. Among them was the second-in-command of Gentle De Yahoo’s group, a man considered almost as dangerous as the leader himself.

Also killed were two female fighters and two other male combatants whose bodies were recovered at the scene. According to eyewitnesses in Aku-Ihube, the corpses were later evacuated by military vehicles under tight security. However, the fate of Gentle De Yahoo himself remains uncertain. Some local sources insist he may have escaped during the chaos, while others believe he was among those trapped inside the burning building. The Army has not confirmed either claim, stating only that investigations are ongoing to determine whether the kingpin was killed or managed to flee.

Beyond the casualties, the raid also yielded critical evidence. Security operatives reportedly recovered:

Assorted rifles and ammunition,

Mobile phones used for coordinating attacks,

Military and police uniforms,

And other operational logistics linked to previous attacks.

This, according to officials, underscores the scale of operations being run from the hideout.

Gentle De Yahoo, also known as Ifeanyi Eze Okorienta, has long been on the Army’s wanted list. He is accused of leading a network of so-called “Unknown Gunmen” in Imo State, responsible for killings, ambushes, and destruction of public infrastructure. Some reports link him to the Eastern Security Network (ESN), the paramilitary wing of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), though IPOB has repeatedly denied direct ties. His notoriety grew after videos surfaced of him taunting security operatives and boasting about past attacks.

For many residents of Imo, his name had become synonymous with fear. The raid has left Aku-Ihube residents shaken. While many welcomed the Army’s operation, describing it as a step toward restoring peace, others expressed fear of reprisals from surviving gang members. Security has since been tightened across Okigwe, with checkpoints mounted along key routes. Local leaders are urging residents to cooperate with authorities and provide intelligence that could help dismantle remaining cells.

The biggest question remains: Is Gentle De Yahoo dead or alive?

The Army insists it will release further details once investigations are complete. For now, his fate hangs in the balance. If dead, the operation marks a significant blow against militancy in the region. If alive, security experts warn he may regroup and retaliate. Either way, the raid signals a clear message from the Nigerian military: no militant hideout is beyond reach.

CrimeHow Power_autos Was Killéd Inside University Of Nigeria Nsukka by Shagreenn(op): 6:26am On Sep 16, 2025
This chilling incident that shook the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, happened on Friday night, 12th sept 2025. The Faculty of Arts UNN, organized a Bonfire night. But the unfortunate incident took place at the Archaeology Department opposite UBA Hall of Fame UNN. A businessman, well-known in Nsukka as Power-Autos, was brutally stabbed to death during a student bonfire party. What began as a night of music, fun, and celebration ended in bloodshed, chaos, and grief.

His real name was Chiebonam Nweze, a young man from Enugu State. Popularly called Power-Autos, he was not a student of UNN, but rather a businessman who mingled often with friends and students in the community. Both power_Autos and the alleged killér Daddy_Yo or called Onyeka are not students of UNN. Power_Autos is from Lejja Nsukka and the killér Daddy_Yo is from Umudiaka Nsukka. So on that fateful Friday, September 12th, 2025, he attended a bonfire night organised by the Department of Archaeology and Heritage Studies, Faculty of Arts. This event was meant to be a social gathering — music, dance, and laughter. But as night fell, tragedy struck.

According to an eyewitness, trouble started when Power_autos wanted to go home with his own friends and his GLK scratched the other guys car. What should have been a minor incident quickly escalated into heated arguments. Campus security intervened at first, calming both parties and restoring temporary peace. To many at the scene, it seemed like the matter had been settled. Power-Autos and his friends decided it was best to leave the campus before things spiralled further.

But on their way out, the night took a deadly turn. As they drove towards the exit, three cars blocked their path. The men inside were said to be connected to the earlier altercation. Sensing danger, Power-Autos’ friends jumped out of the vehicle and fled. But he stepped down from his car, apparently to confront the situation or reason with those blocking his way.
That single decision sealed his fate. In the heat of the moment, assailants pounced on him. Witnesses recall seeing one of them brandish a knife. In seconds, Power-Autos was stabbed in the throat. He collapsed instantly, bleeding profusely. His attackers fled, abandoning one of their vehicles in a drainage channel inside the campus.

Panic erupted at the bonfire. Students ran in different directions, unsure whether more violence would follow. Security officials rushed to the scene. Power-Autos was quickly moved to the university medical centre, but it was too late. Doctors confirmed that the knife wound to his throat had been fatal. A night of celebration had ended in screams and sirens.

UNN security immediately sealed all campus exits. The Chief Security Officer, Kris Alumona, ordered that no one should leave until suspects were identified. Before long, four men attempting to escape through the Odenigwe Gate axis were apprehended. They were handed over to the Enugu State CID and the Police Anti-Cult Unit for interrogation.
Meanwhile, investigators recovered an abandoned car linked to the attackers and cordoned off the crime scene. The swift action prevented total chaos but could not undo the damage already done.

The killing of Power-Autos sent shockwaves across Nsukka. Many described him as lively and outgoing — a familiar face at social gatherings. On social media, tributes poured in, while others expressed outrage at the rising violence in student environments. UNN authorities condemned the incident, describing it as “tragic and avoidable.” The university stressed that both the victim and the attackers were not students but external miscreants who infiltrated the event. In response, UNN has imposed strict rules:

No social events after 6:00 p.m.

All gatherings must now be held in daylight.

Security units must directly supervise any campus event.

As investigations continue, the four arrested suspects remain in police custody. Their prosecution may answer questions about motive — whether this was a spontaneous act of rage or a planned attack. For now, the Nsukka community mourns Power-Autos, a life cut short in the middle of a university campus. And for students, lecturers, and residents, one question lingers: How safe are our schools when celebration can so easily turn into tragedy?

Residents of Imo State are still in shock after the abduction of this former member of the Imo State House of Assembly, who represented Okigwe Constituency. The incident occurred on Sunday, September 7, 2025, in Onuimo Local Government Area, when armed men believed to be separatist agitators intercepted Ogbu’s vehicle and whisked him away at gunpoint.

Police react as armed ‘Biafra agitators’ abduct, threaten to kill ex-Imo lawmaker

Some armed persons, who claimed to be Biafra agitators, have abducted a former member of the Imo State House of Assembly, Ngozi Ogbu, in Imo State, Nigeria’s South-east.

Mr Ogbu, who also represented Okigwe State Constituency in the assembly, was abducted at Onuimo Local Government Area of Imo State on 7 September, sources said.

The former lawmaker was seen in a video clip, reportedly released on Saturday, appealing to the Imo State Government to withdraw security operatives from an area known as White House in Okigwe Local Government Area.

Mr Ogbu was seen in the clip seated on the ground and bare-chested while an armed person stood beside him in a forest.

Demand

In the now viral clip, seen by PREMIUM TIMES, the armed man, who claimed to be a member of the Biafra Liberation Army, vowed to kill Mr Ogbu if authorities and villagers fail to withdraw security operatives reportedly deployed in the White House area of Okigwe on Tuesday.

The Biafra Liberation Army is an armed militant wing of the Autopilot IPOB, a faction of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) founded by the now jailed Simon Ekpa.

The armed person, who was masked, threatened to kill the former lawmaker and come after other Okigwe people if authorities fail to withdraw the security operatives in the area.

He confirmed that he intercepted the lawmaker at the Onuimo Local Government Area of Imo State.

The armed person also claimed he and other members of the Biafra Liberation Army do not engage in kidnapping, but were only pushed into abducting the former lawmaker because they were “heartbroken.”

He accused the Imo State Government of colluding with security operatives to poison a notorious terror kingpin and controversial pro-Biafra agitator, Ifeanyi Eze.

Mr Eze, otherwise known as Gentle De Yahoo, has been linked to growing attacks in the Okigwe Local Government Area, including the recent murder of three of his fighters in the area.

Police speak

The police in Imo State have confirmed the development.

The police spokesperson in the state, Henry Okoye, in a statement on Sunday, claimed suspected IPOB members and their armed militant wing, Eastern Security Network, were holding the former lawmaker hostage.

Mr Okoye, a deputy superintendent of police, said the Commissioner of Police in the state, Aboki Danjuma, has ordered the immediate deployment of police operatives from the tactical units to rescue the former lawmaker.

Mr Danjuma said the police operatives would collaborate with personnel from other security agencies to track down the hoodlums.

Increased attacks

Like other states in Nigeria’s South-east, security has deteriorated in Imo State with frequent attacks by armed persons.

The attacks often target security agencies, government officials and facilities.

Hundreds of people have been killed or abducted, and several others injured in some of these attacks in the region.

The Nigerian government has repeatedly accused IPOB of being responsible for the deadly attacks in the region.

But the separatist group has repeatedly denied its involvement in the attacks.

IPOB is a group leading agitation for an independent state of Biafra which it wants carved out from the South-east and some parts of the South-south Nigeria.

For now, tension remains high in Okigwe and surrounding communities, as the people anxiously await word on Ogbu’s safety. The police have not yet confirmed any breakthrough in the rescue mission, but security patrols have been intensified, and surveillance is ongoing. This abduction adds to the growing wave of insecurity in the South-East, where high-profile kidnappings, attacks on security agents, and violent clashes have become more frequent.

As investigations continue, residents hope that Ngozi Ogbu’s ordeal will end soon, and that justice will be served against those responsible. In the video below, the Politician was seen begging all to do the needful to save his life.

CrimeHow Gentle De Yahoo Boys Humiliated Nigerian Soldier In Okigwe ,Warns FG (VIDEO) by Shagreenn(op):
Something serious is really going on in okigwe, Imo state. The authorities need to do something to curb this insecurity. residence of okigwe has fled there homes. peoples livelihood destroyed. people who are left , most of them live in the bushes for fear of being victims. everywhere is deserted and looks like a ghost town. Children, Mothers and Fathers displaced.
Okigwe, a once quiet axis of Imo State, has in recent weeks become the epicenter of violent attacks, criminal gangs, and rising insecurity that leaves residents living in constant fear.

In the video you are about to watch, a Nigerian military personnel captured by Gentle da yahoo and his men was seen begging for his life, while the separatists humiliate him and the Nigerian Gov.

On a recent night in Ajanaumuna, Ezinachi, within Okigwe Local Government Area, unknown gunmen stormed the community. By the time the shooting stopped, at least five people lay dead, among them members of a local vigilante outfit. Several motorcycles were destroyed, and the home of the community’s youth security leader was set ablaze. Barely days later, another coordinated strike rocked Okigwe. Armed men invaded the home of a newly-appointed security chief. He has not been seen since. Several houses in the area were burned down and unconfirmed reports suggested more lives were lost.

Residents describe these attacks as deliberate campaigns of terror. “We don’t sleep anymore. Once it’s evening, people lock themselves inside. Nobody knows who they will strike next,” a resident told local reporters. Adding to the climate of fear is the shadowy figure known as “Gentle the Yahoo” — an alleged commander of an armed group operating in the Okigwe/Aku axis. In late August, disturbing videos circulated online showing him executing three of his own subordinates, accused of acting without his permission during a robbery.

In other clips, he is seen forcing oaths on locals, issuing threats, and boasting about his control over the region. Some unverified social media posts even allege he once humiliated a captured security officer to send a message to the Nigerian state. Whether or not all these stories are true, the imagery alone has been enough to terrify many. Okigwe is now a place where people hesitate to move freely after dark. Local businesses have slowed, social gatherings are shrinking, and entire neighborhoods are emptying out. Some reports claim villagers are fleeing Aku and its surroundings altogether.

Security analysts warn that the situation highlights Nigeria’s broader problem: when criminal gangs or armed groups fill the gap left by weak security presence, they gain the power to dictate life in entire communities. In Okigwe, the result has been a cycle of killings, counter-killings, and deepening mistrust between the people and those meant to protect them. For Okigwe residents, the question is no longer whether the violence is real — it is how long they can endure it. Until decisive action is taken to dismantle the networks of terror operating in the area, many fear that the killings, the fear, and the lawlessness will continue.

As one grieving mother put it after the latest attack: “We don’t want promises anymore. We just want to live.”

CrimeMen Of Udogachi Security Outfit Shoot Four Inside Onitsha Main Market (VIDEO) by Shagreenn(op):
So guys, it was just last week that we reported about the excesses of the udogachi security outfit. i think we have not seen the last of it yet, This morning, panic swept through Bright Street at Onitsha Main Market, Anambra State, as gunfire erupted inside the crowded trading hub.

According to social media eyewitnesses, four people were allegedly shot when operatives linked to a controversial local security outfit, known as Udogachi, reportedly opened fire. Traders described the scene as chaotic, with people running for safety and shops shutting abruptly as news of the shooting spread.

The alleged perpetrators, believed to be part of a group accused in the past of heavy-handed tactics, are now at the center of online outrage. Citizens are demanding answers from Governor Charles Soludo’s administration, with many questioning why untrained and poorly supervised security units are allowed to carry weapons in bustling marketplaces.

So far, there has been no official confirmation from Anambra State Police Command or government authorities regarding the number of victims, their condition, or whether arrests have been made.

What remains clear is that today’s events have left Onitsha traders shaken, fueling wider concerns about the unchecked power of local vigilante groups operating across the state.

CrimeREVEALED: How Nurse Miriam Was Killed In Her Apartment In The UK by Shagreenn(op): 7:25pm On Sep 06, 2025
“She was young. She was beautiful. She was loved. And she dedicated her life to caring for others. But on a quiet spring evening in Leeds, United Kingdom… Nurse Miriam Nnenna’s life was stolen in a way too cruel to imagine.” “Miriam was just 28. A Nigerian nurse who carried hope in her heart and compassion in her hands. She had recently returned from Nigeria after her traditional marriage introduction. Her wedding day was only months away. She was supposed to be walking down the aisle in a white dress… not carried out of her apartment in a body bag.”

Everything was going on fine for her, until one Sunday evening. “After her hospital shift that Sunday, Miriam disappeared into silence. Calls went unanswered. Messages left unread. Her laughter—gone. Days passed, and with every unanswered ring, dread grew heavier. Her friends knew something was terribly wrong.” The police was alerted and eventually they got to her apartment and it was under lock and key. When police entered her apartment… their fears became reality. Two lifeless bodies were found, that of Miriam and that of another young man believed to be an ex. . A bright soul extinguished in the very place she should have been safe. Her home… had become her grave.”

“The autopsy revealed horrors no one should endure. A knife wound. Signs of strangulation. Contrary to the speculations that made round the internet, that she was double dating. The investigations revealed that she had nothing romantic going on with her ex or anyone else. on that fateful day Miriam fought… but she could not win, she was over powered. It was alleged that, that week was her birthday week and her ex-boyfriend must have heard that she got engaged with someone else in Nigeria and paid her a visit. Someone she once trusted may have turned into the hand that ended her life.” “She had walked away from an abusive relationship months before. But her past wouldn’t let her go. Friends say her ex-partner still haunted her life. The same love that once promised forever… may have become the shadow that ended everything.”

“Her death sent shock waves through the Nigerian community in Leeds. Colleagues wept for a nurse whose kindness healed so many. Friends cried for a bride who never made it to her wedding day. And her parents, back in Nigeria, were left with an unbearable grief—burying the very child they once dreamed would bury them.” “The case remains under investigation. Police are following every lead, searching for answers, and fighting to bring justice for Miriam. But questions still linger: Who killed her? And why did someone so full of love… deserve such a cruel end?”

“Miriam gave her life to save others. But no one could save her. Today, we remember not just how she died… but how she lived—with love, with hope, with dreams. And we demand one thing—justice.”

CrimeDark Cells Of Anambra: Agunechemba & Udogachi’s Secret Detention Chambers by Shagreenn(op): 2:46pm On Sep 04, 2025
In the heart of Anambra State, two names strike fear in the lives of ordinary people—Agunechemba and Udogachi.
Government-backed security outfits, created to protect communities… but behind closed doors, a darker reality emerges. Allegations of secret cells, illegal detentions, and human rights abuses have turned these so-called protectors into the very predators they vowed to fight.

In January 2025, the Anambra State government introduced Agunechemba, a homeland security outfit designed to tackle crime, kidnapping, and cultism. It was meant to be a beacon of safety, a homegrown solution to years of insecurity.
Similarly, Udogachi rose in some communities, filling gaps where police presence was weak. But soon, disturbing whispers began to echo—whispers of torture chambers, extortion, and disappearances.

Behind the uniforms and sirens lay the tiny, inhumane cells. Victims describe being thrown into suffocating rooms, starved, beaten, and forgotten—not for days, but for months. Facebook activist Harrison Gwamnishu sounded the alarm, calling them “jungle justice in uniform.” He revealed that these outfits detain people without trial, beyond the constitutionally allowed 60 days… some never return home

Take the case of Chief Udoka Ejimu. Detained for over 150 days—no trial, no charges that could hold up in court. His family begged for his release, but silence answered them. Or Chief Onyemazu Ngini, allegedly lured under false pretenses, accused of land grabbing, arms possession, even kidnapping. The accusations kept changing. But he was kept in detention, cut off from lawyers and loved ones.

Even corps members, the pride of Nigerian youth service, were not spared. Stripped, beaten, and humiliated—all in the name of fighting internet fraud. Civil rights groups say it’s not isolated. They document extrajudicial killings, extortion of motorists, abductions, and assaults. In Nnewi, a woman was shot dead. in mgbakwu another lady was killed by their stray bullet right inside her house. In another town, a 12-year-old boy killed in operations gone wrong.

The pattern is chilling:
Detain, extort, abuse, silence.

The Anambra State government insists Agunechemba is here to protect, not to harm. They promise oversight, supervisory committees, and justice for those wronged. But on the ground, fear still lingers. Families whisper stories of missing fathers, sons, and daughters. Communities fear reporting abuses, worried they’ll be the next target. Agunechemba and Udogachi were meant to guard the people… but in their shadows, they built dark cells of fear. The question remains—who protects the people from the protectors?

CrimeBREAKING: Aka Odo Commander, Who's House Was Recently Demolished, Breaks Silenc by Shagreenn(op): 6:53am On Sep 03, 2025
In a shocking twist of events, the home of Mr. Ebuka, widely known as Aka Odo Commander, was demolished under allegations of criminal ties. But from his hospital bed, Ebuka speaks out—fighting not just for his health, but for his reputation ‘They said I’m a criminal. But I am not. They want to silence me. My house was destroyed… but the truth cannot be destroyed.’

Authorities allege that Ebuka was tied to illegal activities. Yet, no formal charges have been filed. His supporters claim he is being targeted for political reasons, while critics insist the demolition was justice long overdue. This case raises burning questions: Was Ebuka truly involved in crime? Or is this another example of power used to crush dissent? One man’s voice from a hospital bed may not settle the debate—but it forces us to confront the painful clash between justice, power, and survival.

This is not just the story of a demolished house—it’s the story of a demolished life… and a battle to rebuild. lets listen to his own side of the story.

CrimeImo State Massacre: What Really Happened In Umualaoma & Arondizuogu (2025) by Shagreenn(op): 11:00am On Sep 01, 2025
July 25th, 2025. The peaceful morning silence of Imo State was shattered by gunfire. Three communities — Ndi-Ejezie, Umualaoma, and Ndiakuwata Uno — woke up to terror. What followed was one of the deadliest massacres in recent history. In the early hours, armed men on motorcycles stormed into the villages. They shot indiscriminately… men, women, the elderly — no one was spared. By sunrise, blood stained the earth of Arondizuogu.

The question on the list of many were. who are the killers?

an eyewitness said “They came suddenly… we heard motorcycles, then gunshots. People fell beside me. We ran, but not all escaped.” “How many people died that morning? Official reports spoke of seven… local leaders said twelve. Others insisted over twenty-two. Some claimed as many as twenty-eight. The true number may never be known. But for the families, the statistics mean nothing. Their loved ones are gone.”
This is Onyeka Nwagbo, one of the victims massacre and Chinonso an only son to his parents. A couple were also killed and their son who was in school was called back home to see his parents for the last time before they were buried. he is now an orphan.

Many have relocated, abandoning their home, businesses and loved ones. others live in the bushes in fear of being attacked at home.

“Police quickly blamed separatist fighters — Security forces called it barbaric, inhumane, unacceptable. But for residents already living under fear, this was just another chapter in a cycle of violence they know all too well.” could this be the same group terrorizing the region? whomever it was , whether group or individual should have a rethink about their actions and inaction. the long arm of the law will definitely catch up with them.

“Arondizuogu itself carries a violent past. Founded in the 18th century by slave merchant Mazi Izuogu Mgbokpo, the land was seized through bloodshed — the massacre of the original Umualaoma people. Centuries later, that shadow still lingers.”
After the massacre, silence from leaders was deafening. Some voices rose in anger and condemned the attack, demanding justice and security for imo people and southeast in general. Human rights groups blasted Southeast leaders for their silence, accusing them of abandoning their own.”

“In Umualaoma and Arondizuogu, the wails of mothers still echo. The children still stare in silence. The graves still smell of fresh earth. The world may argue about numbers… but for the victims, only one truth remains: their lives were cut short. And the question haunts everyone left behind… who will protect the living?”

The Umualaoma–Arondizuogu massacre stands out as a distressing chapter in Imo State’s recent history. It involved a coordinated, deadly assault on unarmed civilians, characterized by a wide range of reported death tolls and serious injuries. Authorities have pointed fingers at separatist group, and both political leaders and human rights groups have demanded swift justice, enhanced security, and structural reform to prevent future tragedies.

CrimeGentle Da Yahoo Threatens The Government, ESN And Security Agencies by Shagreenn(op): 8:59am On Aug 30, 2025
Things are really getting out of hand and we must start speaking up. In a viral video making rounds on social media, a road safety official was seen begging for his life and being humiliated while a notorious figure identified as Gentle Da Yahoo issued a strong and direct threat against the Nigerian government, the Eastern Security Network (ESN), and security operatives across the country.

I'm not going to say much about this video because everyone will watch it and hear him firsthand.
In the footage, Gentle is seen brandishing a sophisticated weapon while issuing warnings. He declared that only his group had the right to carry such arms within Biafra land. According to him, neither the Nigerian police, nor the army, nor even members of the ESN were permitted to wield such firepower in the region.

His words were chilling:

“If you are not unknown government, if you are not ESN, you are not allowed to carry this. If you are a police officer in this zoological country, you are not allowed to carry this in Biafra land.”

By this statement, Gentle openly mocked Nigerian authorities, describing the nation as a "zoological country," while positioning himself and his group as the only ones with control over certain weapons. The video, which has triggered wide debate online, is being interpreted as both a show of force and a declaration of defiance.

Security analysts warn that such bold threats highlight the growing challenge of armed groups in the South-East. Many Nigerians are now demanding urgent government action, fearing that Gentle and others like him could further destabilize already tense communities.

Whether or not the authorities will act swiftly remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: Gentle Da Yahoo’s message has added more fuel to Nigeria’s fragile security atmosphere.

CrimeHow 5 Years Old Boy Was Kidnapped And Killed By His Own Cousin by Shagreenn(op): 4:47pm On Aug 29, 2025
This story is a very pathetic one. This is Wisdom obodo agu, a five years old boy, who was very smart, promising and loved by many. He was a big source of joy to his parents because of his intelligence. his father fondly call him 'boy with too much sense' . Everything was going on fine for the family until the 26th of July 2025, when wisdom's father Jude, received a distress phone call from his wife urging him to come home as quickly as possible, that his son was nowhere to be found. On getting home his wife, wisdom's mom told him that wisdom was last seen around 2pm earlier that day. So they began to go from house to house, place to place in search of him. They even formed a search party together with their neighbors and searched every nook and cranny of their community both bushes and hills. they searched and searched all to no avail. so, they began to interrogate other children in the neighborhood to know if someone had a clue as to where he might be.

This was when everything started making sense. the other children in the neighborhood revealed that wisdom was last seen when they were playing hide and seek. that he went to the backyard to hide and didn't come out again. the next day wisdom parents received a phone call from a strange number telling them that wisdom has been kidnapped that if they ever want to see him alive, they should pay the some of 5million naira ransom within 3 days. the kidnapper sent them a sport betting account for the transaction. the family raised few thousands of money and sent to them and even recharge cards as demanded by the kidnappers, still they didn't release their son. Eventually, they reported the case to the police and police began their investigations, after two weeks of tracking. the SIM used to demand the ransom was not leading the investigation to any know person. so the police started tracking the phone and other SIM previously used on the phone. that was when the investigation became interesting.

so guys, this is where the story got interesting. now, the police discovered a particular SIM that was used previously on the phone. When the police revealed what was in the SIM's contact list. That was when wisdom's father recognized the names on the contact list and said that they are his family members. He further said that all his family members are involved in the search to find wisdom and little did he know that someone among them was the culprit. now, it was clear that one of his family members was behind the whole kidnapping saga. The owner of the phone was identified and was indeed the first cousin to wisdom Ikedi Obodo Agu. This revelation sent cold shivers down the spine of everyone. He was arrested , at first he denied being invoked in the kidnapping . According to him, he saw that wisdom's parents where being called by strangers to send money. So he bought his own SIM card and started calling them too just to prank them and extort some money from them. He was asked where he bought the SIM card and how much he bought it. He said he bought it at the rate of 10,000 naira at ninth mile Enugu.

He was denying involvement in the whole kidnapping but the evidence was alarming and after rigorous interrogation he confessed to the crime. At first, he said that he gave out the boy to a hausa man for free. What he said in the morning was not what he would say in the evening. At the end, he confessed that he did not give it out the boy to any hausa man, that he had killed the little boy and buried him in a shallow grave. That was when they came to terms that he has been kidnapped and brutally murdered by his own first cousin. He then led the security operatives to the place he buried the boy's remains and he was exhumed. He tied him, blindfolded him, killed him and buried him all alone by himself. He will soon be charged to court and hopefully, justice will take its full course. stay safe out there thanks.

CrimeYoung Girl Lured Through Facebook, Butchered For Money Ritual In Ogun by Shagreenn(op): 7:02am On Aug 29, 2025
everyone, both man and woman should be careful on who they go on a date with, through social media. Sheriff and Osoji eahan, were very broke and needed money to live large. when i mean large, i mean larger than life itself, because they wanted it fast (get rich quick syndrome) . They might have been too pressured by the society or peers. when they realized that they were not meeting up, they decided to do money ritual. So one day, in their quest to find the Baba that will do the rituals for them, they had to leave their state, Edo State, and traveled to Ogun State. they visited a native doctor by name Monday that specializes in money making ritual. After the consultation with Monday, he agreed to do a ritual concussion for them called Osole that will give them 200 million naira within seven days but on one condition.

The condition is that, they would have to pay the sum of 800,000 naira to enable him gather the things needed to formulate the ritual concussion. unfortunately, one of the things needed was the body part of a young lady within the age 18 to 20. Sheriff and Osojieahan were devastated on hearing that but because they were too desperate to make this money, they agreed and made payment to Monday to start formulating the osole as soon as possible. After receiving payment from them, Monday contacted another native doctor called Oluwalolese to source for the human parts .

He told Oluwalolese that he's in need of a body part of a young lady that he will use for ritual. Oluwalolese told him that he had none available. Then Oluwalolese, told him that he knew another juju man called Jamiu, who could give him human body parts. But unfortunately, Jamiu around that time also had none. So they continued contacting various juju men in their search to get the female body part. until, they found another juju man called Abidemi, who promised them that he could get one,and that it would cost them the sum of 600,000 naira.

Monday begged and pleaded with him to reduce the price and eventually, he ended up paying 300,000 naira only. Now this is where it got interesting. Abidemi set out hunting for the body part for Monday. Now, it happened that Abidemi is just an apprentice in the shrine where he works at, so he told his boss, Adebayo, about the human parts deal he struck with Monday. So after telling his boss, his boss gave him a go ahead order, and then they came up with a plan on how to provide the human body part. Their plan was to engage with a lady on one of the social media apps, invite her over for a date and then kill her and give her body parts to Monday. Now, Adebayo searched on social media and found a lady called Khadijat and started chatting with her. They chatted for some days and when he has gained her trust, he invited her over for a date at a hotel. Unfortunately, when they met in the hotel for the date, it is alleged that he drugged her and took her straight to his shrine.

Immediately they got there, Abidemi, his apprentice, killed her, butchered her and then sent her body parts to Monday, the main native doctor that needed the human parts to create the ritual concussion called osole for Sheriff and his friend Osojieahan. Monday used Khadijat's body parts and some animals to formulate the ritual concussion that would make Sheriff and Osojieahan 200 million naira richer within seven days. he then handed it over to Sheriff and his friend Osojieahan and they returned back to their base, Edo State. However, Khadijat's family, on the other hand, were searching for her because, her phone was switched off and she hasn't been seen nor returned home for days after going for that date with Adebayo.

Khadijat's family reported her disappearance to the police and the police began investigations. Not long into investigations, the police discovered what exactly happened to Khadijat. The police then arrested every single person involved in the crime, including Sheriff and Osojieahan in Edo State. After arresting all the people involved in the murder of Khadijat, the police conducted a search in Adebayo's shrine, and found 10 female handbags obviously belonging to his previous victims, two 25-liter gallon filled with human part, and two cement sack containing human bones. This discovery shows that he has been doing this for a very, very long time.

But guys, the most shocking part of this story is that the ritual concussion which Monday formulated for Sheriff and his friend Osajihan, the main thing that actually led them to the murder of Khadijat, never worked. they didnt see shishi, infact they became poorer than before. It was alleged that the reason why it didnt work is because, Khadijat was a 30-plus lady. She wasn't within the age bracket of 18 to 20, that was needed for the ritual. They did not only waste their time and their 800,000 naira, but they also ended up destroying their own lives and the life of an innocent girl. come what may, the case is still ongoing, and according to the police, they will be charged 0t00o0 court as soon as possible. Let's all be vigilant out there. thank you.

So guys, one would think that gentle the yahoo does not condone robbery or social vices of any kind by what was seen on the video. but the shocking revelation is that they are all birds of a feather. do not feel sorry for the boys nor clap for gentle the yahoo. he didnt end them because they went for robbery with his guns, but these boys was killed by gentle the yahoo because they did not bring returns. it was alleged that they have been involved in series of robbery and kidnapping in the region but it is in their tradition that when they give out their guns for such operations, they will get returns from the proceed.

So, in the case of their three boys. they have an oga named "Hero" and hero is under Gentle. so it happened that the boys went on a robbery operation with the guns signed to their oga Hero without his consent. it was alleged that when they got to their target, they took 400,000 naira from their victim and an okada. when they where about to leave the scene, the man they robbed raised his head from where he was lying down and recognized the one on yellow shirt and called him by his name and said Njoko 'are you the one doing this to me'? Njoko turned and shot him dead. on hearing the gunshot, boys from nearby camp that are in the same business with them heard it and gave them a chase. eventually, they were captured and later released after they introduced themselves as Hero boys. but little did they know that the matter was reported to Gentle.

when they got back to their camp, they kept the proceed to themselves. they did not submit it to Hero as tradition demands, probably because it was an unauthorized operation. unfortunately for them, Gentle got them arrested. interrogated them and they lied and continue lying about the whole thing. so in order to exonerate himself from what they have been doing in the region he decided to killed them on camera and post online. but the truth of the matter as alleged is that he is doing damage control. a lot of people has gone missing, robbed and dehumanized in many form in okigwe . and all fingers are pointing to same man, Gentle the Yahoo.

CrimePolicemen In Viral Asaba Video Arrested, Facing Disciplinary Action by Shagreenn(op): 9:19pm On Aug 26, 2025
The Delta State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of four officers who were recently captured in a viral video, allegedly counting money in Asaba. The clip, which sparked outrage online, raised serious questions about police integrity and misconduct.

According to reports, the officers in question were quickly identified and summoned. Earlier today, they appeared before the Commissioner of Police in Delta State to answer for their actions.

Out of the four policemen, two of them—who are senior officers—have been issued formal queries, pending further investigations. Meanwhile, the two inspectors among the group have been detained and will face what is known in the force as an “orderly room trial.”

For those unfamiliar, an orderly room trial is an internal disciplinary process where accused officers are tried within the police system, and if found guilty, they may face punishments ranging from suspension, demotion, or in severe cases, dismissal from the force.

The viral incident has once again brought to the spotlight the ongoing public demand for accountability and reform within Nigeria’s police system. Many Nigerians online have reacted strongly, calling for not just punishment of the officers involved, but also broader measures to curb corruption and restore public trust in law enforcement.

The Delta State Police Command has assured the public that due process will be followed and that disciplinary measures will be carried out in line with established regulations.

This case serves as yet another reminder of the power of social media in exposing misconduct and forcing institutions to act. The outcome of the orderly room trial will be closely watched, as Nigerians continue to demand justice and professionalism from those entrusted with enforcing the law.
