The problem should be from the jack. Anytime i plug in a #200 earphone it happens almost everytime, it stopped when i got the Baseus, and again it started with the PLEXTONE but it happens 3 out of 10.

So i deduced it might be a quality issue, and not a bug from the phone.

I will look to get the baseus then, I confirmed it's a jack issue. Thanks for the help.

The problem is the earpiece jack. It may have spoilt.
Try inserting it midway into the phone and not fully.

Thanks for the tip, the earpiece doesn't have volume slider, just a button to pause/play/pick and end calls.

I got a langsdom earpiece recently and I found out that whenever I am playing music on my Xiaomi, a slight provocation touch of the wire will trigger the annoying Google voice assistant, sometimes it will stop the music or increase the volume, it will sha be doing falafolo. Wondering if there is something I need to do or a deity I need to offer sacrifices to...

Do you have the phone or you are speaking from people's comments online? It's not a bug, there is no one who has a redmi 4x, running official rom, with coloured notification I know of. I thought it was a bug and even flashed the official rom. The option to select colours is not even available, it's likely a kernel thing as you said, and Xioami should include or fix it in up coming updates.

Read it is cos of battery saving ish, xiaomi can be unnecessarily authoritarian sometimes
