I faced that with Synaptics on hp sometime. Try updating your TouchPad driver. Also there's a way out of it from registry modifications but I've forgotten sha.

If you're on the latest TouchPad driver then downgrade to the 2nd latest

I'm not even on the latest o. When I upgraded to windows 10, the scrolling option stopped working the next day so I decided to install an upgrade. The update i installed was not even the latest.. It worked but stopped again after I rebooted the system

Did it start after a windows update? or did it just start like that? try enabling "protected mode" in Internet Explorer.

It started before the upgrade.
Also, this windows 10 drains my battery so fast even with the so called battery saver on

Of course. A lot fixes have been made. Even if you install the first build, after 31 days microsoft will install the latest one for you automatically through windows update.

I've already downloaded the first update. I'm going to install it then wait for ms to install the latest. But, I'm just wondering how large the update will be in terms of mb/Gb!

After you download it, search for rufus on Google and use it to burn the ISO to flash drive. Then you can format your system but if you want to upgrade without losing your files then you will need to install the ISO directly the way you install softwares.

Hi computerboy, I decided to try out windows 10 on my virtual machine do I downloaded from the link you uploaded here. But, after the installation, it's just strucked on the booting screen

Hi, good morning. My laptop Acer Aspire E1-571 running on Windows 8. Recently, it over heats and shut down when playing games. The fan wouldn't rotates most of the time but, when the fan is working, the laptop wouldn't over heat. I've disassembled the pc, dust and clean the fan very well but still the same. Do you think reapplying thermal paste can solve the problem with the fan?
