Thanks for your input and i appreciate this .
I frankly did not direct any aspersion at you or any other clearing agent doing the right thing .
Very few clearing agent would bill X Naira(Amount) and be ready to add their their money to finish job in event what they billed cant do it without putting importer in the wahala of sourcing for funds they never anticipated to spend .

I have seen a scenario a clearing agent cleared vehicle for a client only for it to be held by customs on the highway because appropriate duty was not paid .In those scenarios the importers are forced to part with hundreds of thousands to prevent impound of their vehicles .

I see on this forum agents claiming to be able to clear a 2007 Camry in a shared container for N500k,2010 Venza for N1m,2006 GS300 for N450k,2011 Highlander for N1.3m etc .what happens if such a container with those vehicles and others get valuation alert placed on it??
The agent would put importers/Clients in a panic mode and are almost always made to pay more than what would have duly cleared their consignment .
If i must short pay customs duty i would always tell my client exactly what their options are and not use my selfishness to add more burden on their shoulders .[/b][/b]

In response to the above , you are reputable but you cant say such of everybody .
In most cases they would claim to have started work already and have spent a sizeable portion of the amount paid thus making full refund impossible .
Or lure patronage with a ridiculously low amount only to unleash the need for more funding afterwards .

Everybody with what works for us .Saying it exactly as i see it works for me thus my sticking to this .

It means short paying customs duty which is what other clearing agent on this forum do but we make sure to get your approval to do such .
We clearly gave you your option to allow you make an informed decision.
