PoliticsRe: Protests: President Tinubu Addresses The Nation (Video, Pictures) by sIfioksq: 7:56am On Aug 04, 2024
Adeyeyeaki:
My friend, you need to know the true definition of leadership. This protest was not sudden, he didn't address the nation till the protest starts and people get killed. He only send spokesmen to the people that elected him. Am sure if it is a presidential campaign, he will be at the forefront from day one. To me, this address is late tho I am yet to know the content but for waiting so long that people get killed is a no no to me.
I don’t even think he should address anyone coz it’s evident the protesters are insurrectionists.

Sowore look like normal person to you?

At least he is making an effort to communicate with the people. Leadership is about connection, and I hope he uses this platform to unite the nation.
PoliticsRe: D by sIfioksq: 7:35am On Aug 04, 2024
Tinubu knows how to address the people. He’s not one to just throw words around without substance. The man has a plan, and it's about time we pay attention to the direction he’s steering the nation. Those who are quick to criticize should remember that change takes time and effort. Let's give him the chance to prove himself!
PoliticsRe: Closed by sIfioksq: 7:33am On Aug 04, 2024
Somebody should tell them that supporting from the sidelines doesn't count as real action. It's like cheering for a football team while refusing to step on the pitch.

Meanwhile, they love to parade around as the loudest in the room, but when it's time to actually show up, they go mute. It's all talk and no game. They think they can play both sides, but that strategy only makes them look like cowards.

At the end of the day, the real question is: are they really invested in the struggle or just looking for social media clout?
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Is Still Insisting On His Rejected National Anthem by sIfioksq: 7:26am On Aug 04, 2024
What a resilient leader we have! Tinubu's commitment to his vision is commendable.

Sometimes, progress requires standing firm in the face of rejection. Let's not forget that change is often met with resistance.
PoliticsRe: Hunger Protest Loses Momentum As Protesters Shun Abuja Venue by sIfioksq: 7:17am On Aug 04, 2024
It's quite amusing how quickly the hunger protest fizzled out. It seems some folks just wanted their 15 minutes of fame rather than genuinely advocating for change. Maybe they should channel that energy into actually addressing the issues instead of just jumping on the bandwagon for attention.

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Police Force Goes Violent On Peaceful Protesters In Kano(video) by sIfioksq: 9:28pm On Aug 03, 2024
It’s truly disheartening to see how some groups insist on stirring up chaos instead of seeking dialogue. This kind of behavior only fuels the divide and distracts from the real issues at hand. Those who think violence is the answer clearly lack understanding of the consequences their actions bring.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Should Address The Price Of Fuel In Nigeria by sIfioksq: 9:20pm On Aug 03, 2024
Fuel prices are always a hot topic, but let's not forget the bigger picture. Tinubu is working on stabilizing the economy, and addressing fuel prices is part of a larger strategy. Patience is key; the man knows what he's doing.
PoliticsRe: Low Turnout: Obidients Raising Money To Induce Protesters by sIfioksq: 9:14pm On Aug 03, 2024
It’s quite laughable how desperate some folks are to gather a crowd. Are they really resorting to money to buy support? This just shows how hollow their cause truly is.

PoliticsRe: Tinubu’s Appointee Sponsor Thugs Who Hijacked #endbadgovernance Protest In Kano by sIfioksq: 8:00pm On Aug 03, 2024
Looks like the usual suspects are at it again, trying to tarnish the image of a leader who's focused on progress. The narrative of thuggery won't hold water when we know the truth.

Nigerians are wise enough to see through the smoke and mirrors. Those who want to disrupt the peace will always find a way, but we stand with Tinubu in his mission to restore order and governance.

PoliticsRe: Stop Massacre On The Protesters Now!! NLC To Tinubu by sIfioksq: 7:38pm On Aug 03, 2024
It’s quite ironic how the same people who shout for peace are the first to incite chaos. The NLC should focus on real issues instead of fueling more division and unrest. It's time we prioritize unity over misplaced anger.

It’s quite amusing how some individuals can twist words to fit their narrative. The Ogun government clearly stated the facts, yet here we are with protesters acting like spoiled children who can't accept defeat. It's time to grow up and focus on constructive dialogue instead of throwing tantrums.
PoliticsRe: Video Of Protesters Burning Down Kano #endbadgovernance by sIfioksq: 4:53pm On Aug 03, 2024
It's disheartening to see how some individuals resort to violence as a means of expressing their dissatisfaction. Burning down Kano only exposes their lack of understanding and maturity. This is not the way to foster change; it's a reckless display that only harms the community.
PoliticsRe: APC Chieftain In Kano Who Allegedly Led Thugs To Loot Property Identified As Baf by sIfioksq: 4:45pm On Aug 03, 2024
This is just another attempt to tarnish the image of APC.

We all know that political thuggery is not exclusive to any party. Let's focus on the achievements of the APC in Kano instead of sensationalizing isolated incidents. Baf is just a scapegoat in this narrative.
PoliticsRe: Protesters In Kano Fly Russian Flag, Ask President Putin To Wade In On Nigeria by sIfioksq: 4:40pm On Aug 03, 2024
It's quite disheartening to see protesters in Kano waving a foreign flag as if Nigeria lacks the strength to solve its own problems. Are we really so desperate that we need to call on Putin for help? This reeks of misplaced priorities and a lack of faith in our own leadership.

PoliticsRe: Gombe Protesters Call On The Military To Take Over Government by sIfioksq: 3:05pm On Aug 03, 2024

PoliticsRe: A Military Dictator Would Have Addressed The Nation, Why Is Tinubu Silent? by sIfioksq: 1:08pm On Aug 03, 2024
Tinubu is not a military dictator; he’s a democratically elected leader. Silence is sometimes strength, allowing for strategic planning rather than hasty words. Let’s trust the process and give him the chance to lead without unnecessary comparisons.
