Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG; Pastor William Kumuyi, the General superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Bishop Josef Bassey, the Presiding Priest of God’s Heritage Global Mission, Prophet T. B. Joshua of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) and Dr. Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles, MFM, released their predictions for the nation in the early hours of 2014 on January the 1st.
The nine-point prophecies divided into three categories released by Pastor Adeboye are similar to the 30-point predictions of Pastor Olukoya, and the 18-point prophecies released by the Presiding priest of God’s Heritage Global Mission at the Night of Release service in Calabar, while Pastor Kumuyi used the Passover service to urge Nigerians to live righteous lives without which, he argued, Nigeria will not make appreciable progress.

According to the General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, God told him that the destiny of Nigeria will be determined this year and not in 2015, against the expectations of many. Dr. Daniel Olukoya prophesied that 2014 shall be a year of total freedom for Nigeria, while Bishop Josef Bassey declared 2014 by the prophetic mandate of heaven to be the year of Mysterious Accomplishments. General Superintendent, Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi said righteousness is need for the nation to move forward this year.

Reeling out prophesies for the nation at the Crossover Service at the Redemption Camp, Km 45, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State, Western Nigeria on Wednesday, Adeboye emphasized that God told him that Nigeria’s future would be determined this year.
“The future of Nigeria will be determined this year 2014 and not 2015. 2015 will be mere formality,” he stated. Adeboye further said God told him that the “equation at the beginning of 2014 will be different from the equation at the end of 2014, therefore, don’t jump to conclusion,” adding that he would not make open the other prophesies about Nigeria which God revealed to him.
To the great multitude of people in attendance at the Night of Release service in Glory Land, on God’s Heritage Avenue, Calabar, Nigeria, Bishop Josef Bassey foretold that this is the year of the outbreak of revival and the outpouring of the Spirit and the nation Nigeria will witness great tension, fears and worries but there shall be a calm at the end of the day. To quote his words, he expressly said, ‘In fact at a point it will be as though everything will scatter but God says, “Don’t be afraid. There shall be a great calm at the end of the day”’. He went further to say, “The mighty ocean of the dark will threaten to swallow up the light of God in this nation but shall fail. Let my people be discerning for there shall be a strong scheme to lure many ignorantly into the satanic move of the hour; the church must pray.”
Still prophesying he said, “God says; The eagle of the north shall collide with the eagle of the south but in the midst of the storm, a Messiah shall arise. I am sending a deliverer. In this year you have stepped into nothing, will remain small .There shall be a clear difference between the finger of God and the finger of men at work. 2014 is the year of fulfilled promises and possessing your possessions. Lies and deceptions shall be exposed in the kingdom. Many great shall fall and fail. Many of mine that are prepared in the secret shall leap into greatness and a revival army shall arise”

Correspondingly, in his prophesies, Dr. Olukoya said that 2014 shall be a year of total freedom for Nigeria as every mad power rising against the righteous shall become powerless. He also said, “2014 is a year of great revival, a year of many questions, few answers. Strong prayers are needed to dislodge strange powers. There shall be deliverance from great afflictions and bondages. There will be monumental encounter/failure for those who trust fetish powers. Angels will allow them to do jazz but they won’t succeed. They will have a bad year.

“There will be uncommon salvation from sin as well as personal, institutional, national salvation.
2014 shall be a tough year for many political leaders not standing straight. Traders shall be chased out of the temple of God. There shall be deliverance from violent storms. 2013 shall be the end of year for bondage, suffering, weeping etc while 2014 is a year of total freedom,” he added.

Renowned Nigerian Prophet T.B. Joshua has declared 2014 as a year of “crossing the bridge”, prophesying it to be a year of destiny where corruption would be corrected in Nigeria as corrupt leaders would go down.
It was an electric atmosphere in The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) where large crowds thronged to usher in the New Year 2014. T.B. Joshua came out around 11pm to deliver his much anticipated prophetic message in a broadcast beamed live via the churches popular television station Emmanuel TV.
He first counseled believers to stay steadfast in faith despite the challenges that would arise in the coming year. “We are tempted so that we may pray the more. Afflictions are meant for our spiritual benefit,” he encouraged the congregants and television viewers.
Moving on, he spoke about what was to be expected in the New Year, attendees listening with rapt attention and scribbling notes as he spoke. “This New Year 2014 is not like any other year in the past. It is a year of crossing bridge. To cross the bridge, you need to grab onto faith,” he began. “This is not going to be easy for the mighty. Many of the mighty will fall. Pray for them. The rich, famous and popular people – many will fall this 2014 because crossing the bridge is not going to be easy; they need God. Many of them believe it is their own making to be great in their own area of expertise.”
In his sermon at the International Bible Training Centre, Ayobo, Ipaja area of Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, Kumuyi called for righteousness and holiness as God would not bless a nation living in bitterness and hatred.

Speaking on the topic: The Key that Closes and Opens Significant Doors during the Passover Service, Kumuyi said forgiveness, faith, righteousness and holiness were the keys needed to open the door of breakthrough for the nation, stressing that bitterness, hatred, envy, jealousy and sins would permanently shut the door of blessings against the nation.

“Love is the key that opens the door; evil, dishonesty, lust, internal fornication, adultery will shut the door of blessings. Fasting is good, but fasting without forgiveness will shut the door of blessing. We should resolve that 2014 will be a year of righteousness and transparent life.
