submitted for visit visa on the 23rd of jan received sms for pick up 14 feb will be going there to collect my PP after 3 weeks I don tire self

3 weeks is a long time. Let us know the outcome. Wish u the best

Good day sir am currently applying for my study permit now. Is a 10 months course so my uncle will be accommodating me. So in d proof of accommodation he sent were his letter of invite his passport stamped n receipt for payment. dere were no lease of agreement but he attached proof of residence i.e a payment for light bills and one account number that links the address to the house. Pls I want to knw if this documents us ok

Call Vfs and explain if you can bring Proof of payment instead of the Lease. This is a long term stay you have to treat every loophole before going for submission.

Hello everyone, am so happy to announce to you all that I finally got my study visa today after been denied once...For those agitating for pending outcome of their application, this is how it works: study visa takes 21 working days, subtract sat and Sundays (unless u knw the consular Gen),if it hadn't reach 21days, don't bother calling, just wait for the sms notification...wish u the best

Yes, but you need to call them, sound very nice and desperate too. cos they are quite busy.

Please house what does this mean? I applied for SA Tourist visa(Conference) on the 6th of February and I have been tracking it. And it says : Your application is received and under assessment at the South African High Commission, Lagos.

It means they are still working on it. I submitted on the 3rd of Feb. So keep me posted on how urs turns out, I will also keep you posted. But from counting I have made on dis platform since january It takes 15days in lagos including non working days. Like @nairaking submitted 19th of Jan and it came out on the 3rd of feb.

It takes 6months after denial. They won't write it on the print out attached to your Passport but you can call to confirm but I know its 6months.

Is it a visitors Visa. If its a visitors Visa you should be worried but be patient maybe they are trying to verify some information you gave. But If its a student Visa you shouldnt be in a hurry o. Because they follow the academic calender.

I called the embassy this morning and the lady informed me they are currently processing applications that were submitted on the 23rd of January. I submitted my application on the 26th of January...I had to reschedule my flight last week. cant afford to reschedule again. For this recession...just confused.

Leave your ticket open. Go and reschedule it when you got your Visa. And I don't understand why you paid for a flight ticket before getting Visa. But whats done is done call the flight company and ask them to make it an open ticket and that you would put a date when you are sure. Hope I helped.

I applied at the lagos vfs yesterday. I hope I get the Visa. But my question is I'm going for a training.......if the Visa is granted can i travel before the schedule date for the training which is starting on the 26th in Joburg so i can see some friends in cape town and then return to joburg for the training by 25th. I'm asking so I can put in an extra week leave at the office prior to our training date. So I will go alone but return from the training with my collegues. I don't know if it will be possible so i came online to ask n saw this thread. Appreciate a reply. Tnx.

Did you get the Visa cause Im planning a trip. I have been to SA before. But now I want to go to mozambique straight from Nigeria and informations seems to be limited online. Saw this and wanted to ask if you travelled and what requirements did you use. I hope for a reply or reply for anyone with an idea.

My SA visitors Visa was denied in october reason due to "unconvincing documents", same documents I used in travelling in June to SA. I tried to reapply one week after and was told I can only apply after 6months, but I cant wait that long. Do I have any other options.
