I'm kinda confused here, I've always been doing job interviews but I've never done assessment test. I applied for a job in a media company, we were told to send our CV and write essay about ourselves, i sent my cv with my 200 words essay, 3 or 4 weeks later I was invited to come for an "assessment test" this week. My problem now is I've never done assessment test before, what I'm used to is Interview. Some told me it is like a questionnaire method, where I will fill "agree or disagree", some told me assessment test is better than Interview, some told me after assessment test I will be interviewed again, while some also told me it is the same thing, now I'm confused. Please house, I'm sure some of you might have gone through this process, what is the difference between assessment test and interview? Will I go through interview after the assessment test? and lastly which is of the two is better?
