hello everyone, i just got a successful BAT response and was invited to submit my original credentials. even thought the email is confusing saying "scan" you original credentials and submit in person at their address in V.I by 20th wednesday, that is tomorrow by 12 noon. my problem right now is that i live in the east, i know i summoned courage to go to lagos to write the first test and sat in that vehicle throughout all the uncomfortable hours and came out with an ass flatter than a sand paper. but cant i just submit the soft copy to them via email? i mean its just to submit your credentials do i have to come all the way to submit soft copies?
another thing that bothers me, is that i will soon be going for nysc camp, and i will be sure to miss out on the next stage A.C, is it safe to just reschedule my a.c. sometimes i wish the recruitment process wasn't so lagos oriented. Klyveld, Peat, Marvick and Goerdeler is a global company, i once took an aptitude test for KPMG malaysia and london without even knowing where their offices are in the city. i guess i'd have to call them otherwise, i have to look for a way and appear in lagos by noon tomorrow, and with fuel price now.... those transport companies will just save your head when you ask how much.

U can scan ur documents to them, U Dont 've to come all the way, I know of someone who did that, when u 're coming to A.C, u would have to come with the originals then, then I also know people who took the time to come n submit, choice is yours. fill the form n select your unit of first choice,IT Will help them refer u to the appropriate person for u to scan the documents to. when Sending the scanned documents, ask them to acknowledge receipt of the mail. so try n call them this morning to know your next line of action. start processing your transcript if it's not ready. for rescheduling AC, Dont know how possible that is, most units have AC, just once In a year, cos they don't take much people while Audit has AC twice or thrice n they have done 2 already. so u can ask the HR if you can reschedule. I dont advise you reschedule but I understand That u might have no choice but to do so. so fill the form first and i advise u to select audit as first choice except u already have a unit in mind. do this first and we will continue after this step. all the best.

So all you have to do is prepare very well for the gmat which comprises of the maths, English n current affairs. My friend would say this first stage is probably the hardest, cos u cannot judge your performance, there isn't a visible cut-off mark. just do your best and you will succeed. the essay isn't something you should be afraid of, u can write on it, just be calm and present your points properly. all the best dearies. you can always ask us questions and I will try n answer them as long as I 've mb. most important of all, don't forget to pray, more important than all the studying combined together. all the best again

I got the email for BAT, one needs to tailor his or her answers to kpmg's core values, in every scenerio always ask yourself, "what would kpmg do".
Imagine if i didnt check my email this morning for feedback on world bank analyst program tests i took i wouldn't have seen kpmg's invite and would have missed the deadline by 1pm today. I would have been hoping on the lady's word of mouth that the results will be out 2 to 3 weeks..... mtchew. That lady on 9th was somewhat rude though.

U re right about tailoring it to their core values, she was probably right too when she said 2 to 3 weeks, it took 2weeks when I did mine. guess they 're fast.

be calm as possible read thru the options. But then tailoring your answers to the core values would help. then know kpmg's global behaviours n skills

first know the core values of kpmg, try n match your responses to their core values. it's kind of like scenario based questions. if you are in so n so situation, what would u do. there are usually no right or wrong answers but then they do 've what they 're searching for in mind, so try to tailor your answers to the core values.

Someone should please answer these questions:
1. Is the aptitude test (quantitative and verbal) going to be written or CBT?
2. How many essays will we be writing?
3. Is it important to wear suit?

It's cbt. Endeavour to go with a copy of ur NYSC certificate if u 've done. It's maths n english, u need a 50% pass in each, 50 questions for each, so u need to pass 25 each. u would have an HR interview, no need for a suit, but dress corporately, if u want to wear a suit all good n fine. essay is just one, likely questions why u want to execute a training bond, my quest for excellence, why access bank, what re ur long term goals n how u want to go about achieving them, U 've to pick one out of these mentioned above. then u have a questionnaire to fill, it's ten questions, there 're different questionnaires so I don't know which u would get to pick, but questions range from childhood experiences to why access bank, to mentors, to training bond, to why we should hire u n the likes. then u 've a psychometric test which is more like a personality test. I ve talked about That earlier, u can check.
for the HR interview, be confident n smile. It's a one on one, probably questions like tell us about urself which u should include stuffs about ur family when answering, key achievement from primary to uni, ur family values, why access bank, where do u see urself say the next 5 years thereabout, a lil about what you know about the bank, their core values, if u re the md for one day, what would change or improve in the bank. U will do well if u 're calm. don't forget to ask the interviewer a question at the end, like what's the most exciting thing about working for access bank or is there job rotation In access bank.
