You're a genius, your suggestions are very correct but because the government is involved they won't border will always down play good ideas because of their political interests. You're indeed a good citizen 👍 koladata: He don finish, I can count more than 10 things within the government power that can be done but they won't do it.
1. Deploy CCTV camera to all states, buy more than 1million cameras from China immediately, we have the money... and create a new job call it camera policing. Give these police special 10 days urgent training on how to detect when a camera is down, embedded realtime monitoring from special controls, ensure that one camera police can monitor about 20 to 50 camera in one region, while giving realtime updates.
2. Get at least 1million CCTV camera drones , military grade, packed with solar panel and extra battery, send your solders to china to give them the requirements, if dangote can buy four thousand trucks, then we can purchase 1million CCTV camera drones from China , a drone that can fly around and give up to 24 hours area view couple with some satlite imagine then there will be no excuses anymore. Make the viewing of some of these cameras public so that even average Nigerian citizens can monitor it , this way, you will see new tech companies coming up with several facial recognition and danger alert systems software that can even help the military.
3. Create a new nation wide 911 phone number and employ one thousand Nigeria's to pick calls when ever there's an attack, be it kidnaping or any form of insurgency, once the emergency number is dialed, the nearest police station or military based will be alerted, CCTV camera will be active, satalite imaging will start snapping, let's see where they are going , if there's no camera there. And if the camera are too much , how many can they damage before they get cought.
4. Create a new unit of special police, call it mega squard. Ensure that it is packed with highly qualified military and police officers with a high criteria to join. Make the salary of this special police to be 10million naira per month and make sure it's opened to even foreigners. Just set the requirements to be highly trained individuals then you will be shocked that many foriegn nationals will be willing to join , it will be packed with foriegn trained personnel with special training, some people will come out of retirement to join this force. Our internal revenue is over 3 trillion per month so there's money to recruit over one thousand of this special force. They will be heavily funded with high tech tools and you can be assured that with that kind of salary they will fight with their lives , and money is no longer their problem. Their major work is to recommend and give suggestions, work hand in hand with our chief security officers. Etc Ensure that there are about 30 percent Americans among them, 20 percent European etc . These ones won't sabotage you, they will find you the exact course of this insurgency.
5. Create forest workers, employee 36 thousand Nigerians , we have 36 states in this country, 1 thousand workers per state, group them into 72 team and give each team 30 tractors and 1 thousand CCTV camera, that will be a total of 72 thousand more cctv camera and 2160 tractors... Dangote bought 4 thousand tankers and he's not richer than Nigeria. The primary job of this forest workers is to 1. mount and monitor those CCTV camera for a 24 hours surveillance, 2. Clear all bushes about 1 kilometers before the high way and maintain it. 3. become national Forest farmers and ensure forestry can become part of our new revenue buy planting more tries for consumption or exportation.
I'm tired of typing .... Don't act like Nigeria is hard to govern except president Tinubu is part of the problem, there are more than 10 good ideas that will automatically transform this country. |

You've said it all, it's really sad to hear such news horrible things are happening everyday without consequences Namaster: Why are these criminals called BANDITS?
They are TERRORISTS!
They kidnap VULNERABLE people and murder them even after collecting ransoms.
They INVADE Military Barracks and Police Stations and kill them too.
These are NOT the actions of bandits. These are acts of TERRORISM.
The fact that they happen EVERYDAY doesn't detract from that.
Nigeria is under SIEGE from terrorists. Yet the government keeps acting like it's NORMAL.
FG catches and releases these TERRORISTS under the guise of "rehabilitation".
You don't rehabilitate TERRORISTS. You TERMINATE them!
The FG's misguided LENIENCY is a MAJOR reason terrorism is spreading like STDs in a who.rehouse.
In Nigeria, we have TERRORISTS with TikTok accounts who face ZERO consequences. Meanwhile content creators are being FORCED to marry each other because of their content.

Phones › Re: Took Me 2 Years To Forgive Myself: Man Shares Danger Of Putting His Phone On DND by Sk5050: 12:34am On Oct 10, 2025 |
You nailed it to me anyone doing that is not serious with life and risking many things Nazgul: One problem I’ve noticed with many Nigerians is that we love using things without fully understanding how and when they should be used — and that often leads to misuse.
Ever since I started living alone, my phone is always on and reachable — loud ringtone, data on, and “available” status. To me, it’s common sense. If someone calls at 2am, I assume it’s an emergency.
My pastor once shared a story about a man who was kidnapped on his way from Lagos to Ibadan for a burial. The first group (going to the same burial) driving ahead of him narrowly escaped the kidnappers and kept trying to call to warn him — but his phone was on silent mode. He didn’t pick up, drove straight into danger, and was taken. Thankfully, he survived, but when he was released, he later told them that he 12 missed calls on his phone after the kidnappers surrounded and abducted him. Those calls could have saved him if only his phone hadn’t been silent.
That story stuck with me.
With the security challenges we face in this country, it’s not wise to put your phone permanently on DND or silent. Think about it —
What if there’s trouble in your neighborhood and someone’s trying to warn you?
What if a loved one has an emergency and can’t reach you?
What if a job or opportunity comes your way, but your phone is unreachable?
We live in unpredictable times, and staying reachable is more than convenience — it’s a safety measure.
Let’s be more alert and intentional. Living in Nigeria sometimes feels like living in a war zone, and awareness is one of the few defenses we have. |
