Pls do you know if it can be gotten same day?

Good day nairalanders,

Please I urgently need this information for someone who intends to travel from the U.S next week as the travellng ticket has been bought already.

A United states citizen, never been to Nigeria before but has siblings in Nigeria. Is it Visa free for the person to enter Nigeria? If no, can the person be granted Visa on arrival at the airport in Nigeria?

Please any useful information will be appreciated. Thanks

And you should be shoved into the deepest part of hell for your idiocy. Why are you so pained over my post? If you want to make a case over my allegation, then do the needful. Wait till you lose a sister under such circumstances and know how much that hurts. You must either be Paul Okpo or his accomplice for you to come here and start talking gibberish. If this will pain you more, I still stand by my allegation and i repeat...Paul Okpo's hands are not clean. Such carelessness....such negligence towards someone who was his wife. Till she drew her last breathe. Greedy selfish gold digger who couldn't even attend his wife's burial citing flimsy excuses.

Gina was on a call with a close friend for a very long time on Saturday, Oct 6th, 2018. (This close friend had stopped coming to the house because the husband felt she knew his past and thus, disliked her associating with Gina).

The call ended at about 18.50pm. At about 18.58pm, her husband called Gina's elder sister who lives at Ibadan, sent her a picture of Gina in the bed. He said she was sleeping rather than being up and rejoicing with him for winning his primaries. Her sister looked at the picture, then asked if anything was wrong with her or if she was okay. The husband said she was a little bit sick (the impression here was that there was a domestic issues that led to state of unconsciousness as depicted in the picture sent).Then her sister pleaded that he looked after her and also asked if she should come to Abuja to take care of her but the husband said no, and that he would handle the situation. At about 11.00pm later that night, she called back to find out how Gina was feeling. The husband said she "was still sleeping".

With this, her sister pleaded that he take her to the hospital without delay but he said he would not go because 11pm was late to go to the hospital. After so many pleas, her husband also appealed to Mr. Okpo to take the wife to the hospital but he said he was "not in the mood". After that, he switched off his phone. At 6.00am the following morning (Sunday), he took her the the hospital, and went for his party 's presidential primaries. He never checked on his wife nor call the doctor to know how she was feeling, rather, he drove home and switched off his phones. By evening, Gina's health could not be managed by the doctors so they needed to transfer to the National hospital, but no one to take up the transfer. By midnight, the doctors scrolled through Gina's phone and started making random calls to see who could assist take Gina to the National hospital. They got her elder sister at about 2am after which she started making contacts with relatives at Abuja to help. She got someone at about 3am and she arranged to go. The relative was there at about 5am but the documentations could not finish before Gina's husband came after six o'clock and Gina at this time had slipped into unconsciousness.

Between the two families, it was agreed that Gina was to buried in her village but neither her husband nor husband's family was present at the burial of the wife he claimed to have loved and they claimed was made a "princess" by their king in Etsakor, Auchi, about three weeks before her death.

One of the reports reaching the family was that he subdued her while she was alive to the extent that she was denied access to using her personal car bought by one of her younger sisters. She was going to the office by public transport.

They later took her to the hospital that Monday morning where she was placed on life support. This was somebody who spoke with a friend for almost one hour Saturday evening.
On Tuesday, the doctors said her kidney was infected, by Wednesday, they said she had kidney failure and was to go through dialysis which never took place until Friday. The doctors said she would undergo a second dialysis on Saturday. But on Saturday, Gina's husband called to say the dialysis would not hold because "the hospital staff who booked for dialysis did not book for space for Gina)?? How true could this be?

On Sunday, he called to say one of the doctors called him into the office to say that Gina's vital organs : (kidney, heart and liver) were failing. Gina's family asked if there could alternative arrangements, may be bring in external experts to team up with the doctors but he swiftly replied that the management team was not on duty as that was on a Sunday.
While Gina was in the hospital, he kept making coments like "I just want Gina to get well because I don't want if anything happens to her, for people to say Edo man don use his wife do politics". He said this to two of his wife's sisters.

He told many of her friends who called while she was in coma that she was getting better but resting. Even two hours after she died, her husband told one of her blossom friend who called, that Gina was getting better but resting.

As customary in Gina's village and most parts of Eastern Nigeria, when a woman is maltreated by her husband, she is withdrawn and pride price returned but if maltreated to death, she is buried at her father's compound.

Paul did not attend the burial but sent a picture of a stage-managed accident as reason for him not attending the burial with his people.
Before the burial, Paul instructed Gina's colleagues not to attend the burial as he claimed the family wanted to make it a low key one. One of her colleagues called the family to clarify this and was told it was all a lie. The office was well represented by not less than twelve people people from Abuja and six from their Asaba office.

While Gina's body was still in the mortuary, Paul kept withdrawing from her account such that he emptied her two accounts. Paul and family did not contribute to the burial of the wife he claimed to have loved.

Gina was a golden hearted lady who always left positive impression on people that come her way. She helped so many women start businesses to assist their family and also helped both widows and orphans stay happy by providing them the little or much she could when necessary.
She married late but before then, she was comfortable such that her husband moved into her apartment with his bag and son from his first marriage. After the customary traditional marriage, Mr. Paul Okpo and his son, Daniel Okpo became Gina's responsibilities and liabilities. Gina loved Paul to the extent that she would do anything to make him and his son happy. She provided for the family. Even while going visiting her family members outside Abuja, she would go with Daniel. She also travelled with him even when on official duties in any state where she had her relatives. She was very homely to fault. Despite how her husband isolated her from her friends and relatives in abuja, and how he emotionally traumatized her even before both her friends and his friends, she never complained, thinking he would change one day.

Despite supporting him morally and financially to contest for the house under the platform of ADC for Etsakor federal constituency, she paid the Supreme price for gentility, kindness and love.
