2) There is no scenario in which Mr Obi will defeat Mr Tinubu in Katsina, Kano, Kaduna or in any other far Northern states. There is no sign anywhere that Northerners will go out enmass to vote a Mr Obi.

So, Mr Obi will only be guaranteed majority votes in the South East, and some in the South South.

In any scenario in which Mr Obi is the only major contestant against Mr Tinubu, I believe the latter will emerge victorious by a large margin.

The only scenario that will be competitive against the President is an Atiku/Obi joint ticket, but that too won't defeat the President.
