1 You can open a corporate account. Your customer/clients will feel more comfortable paying into a corporate account than into a personal account.
2. Customers and clients are more comfortable dealing with a registered business, than with one that is not registered.
3.some loans and especially government grants are only accessible to registered business.
4. Evidence of CAC registration, one of the requirement for government contracts.
5. It is easier to obtain visa and travel to other countries for business, if your business is registered.
6. Ensures continuity for your business.
7. Foreign partners are more likely to trust and deal with a registered business than an unregistered one.

business name. I approached Gtbank but they said it can't fly. I called cac they say I've to write letter and send it through courier to Abuja. I think I just have to register another one.

if not because of the mix up in the names, having only one name on the certificate will not stop your from opening a corporate account.
Eg if the name on the certificate is Marvel enterprises. You can open an account in that name
