Sometimes people turn your good intentions otherwise.
I got so many mails late September asking for one assistance or the other. I tried to assist as much as I could with token and actually ignored some due to the huge sum being asked.
One of the mails from a guy here(I won't mention his name now) wanted me to help out with 10k to be repaid once he collected his salary.
I told him I won't do such but will gift him 3k.
This guy kept begging,sent me mails and even WhatsApp I later obliged and asked him to send his details. He then changed the story again saying he actually needed 15k,so I sent him15k with the promise to pay back 1st week of October. I reminded him mid October of his promises,he pleaded till month end.
Today is 7th,this guy has refused to even get in touch.
It's actually not about the 15k but the integrity plus blocking the way for others. He is still commenting on nairaland.
I have all his details including his pictures but won't post them.
Just saying this to show that if people sometimes refused to help even when they have the capacity, it may be because of their experience with others.

Following the rules of the PFP is part of the competition itself and I don't think we have asked for too much when we needed some clarification. This in no way shows who won a ticket did not win the ticket itself as a bet. It is only normal to inquire if the winning is within the confines set by the organizers themselves where there are doubts. Yes, no one is forced to partake and the organizers are doing a good job in keeping the competition going. Nonetheless, where there might be uncertainties on any ticket, and procedures to keep it valid for the competition, it is only necessary to clarify as the need arises. I hope you will see this as a step in the right direction to douse any tension that might arise from time to time. Thank you once again.

Also confirm that all the rules were followed by litathom as regards posting his won ticket ID on twitter as expected within the stipulated time frame to put the competition back in good light. This will encourage participants that every competitor is treated fairly with no one given any preference whatsoever.

The deadline for posting all game both on twitter and nairaland is 6pm. Any game posted after the deadline was supposed to b invalidated. Profdotcom posted is winning ticket on twitter at 10pm instead of the normal deadline of 6pm but the bet was still valid according to the organisers

They had better not overturn this cause they would be making a fool of themselves, inasmuch his name is on the leaderboard it would be too much of an error for it to be removed

The organizers are humans and errors are bound to happen;It just has to be curtailed. With that being said, once a mistake is detected, the right thing to do is to correct it even if it means removing the name on the leaderboard. It'll go a long way in emphasizing the rules because the name would not be on the board in the first place of the rules were followed by the organizers.

Rules r rules, before i decided to try my luck on Tuesday i read the rules and it was explicitly stated that the games must be posted on twitter, to be sincere it would be unfair for him to be disqualified on that basis since his winning have already be acknowledged in the new leader board, so i believe the organizers of the competition are to be blamed for not sticking to the rules

Just like the VAR, any decision made in error can be overturned having established a contrary decision to be the right decision. I hope the organizers take the right decision in the end to conform with the laid down rules and put measures in place to prevent future reoccurrence.

I think the whole pfp should be suspended because no matter the decision taken by the official won't be fair, the fact that the moderators couldn't detect dat the ticket was not posted on twitter simply means twitter posting was not necessary which there by question the integrity of this competition

All they need to do is to confirm if the won tickets have same, posted on Twitter as betslip at the same date the game was posted here in NL. As simple as that.
