Boko, I just give the hard facts! I know the region very well. These are DISTINCT ethnic groups. Any relation is tenuous at best! I talk about my fellow Africans because, it is time to have a good sense of humor and relax a bit!! After all, we are all West Africans.

I maintain that the Ewe are a distinct ethnic group more culturally related to the Akan than Yoruba today.

I dare anyone to prove me wrong. Is their Origin Yoruba? There is no evidence to prove that they are and to me, it seems they are a distinct ethnic group most related to the Fon and others between Akan lands and the western people in modern Nigeria .
