MTN’s ambassador, Chidinma Ekile, has debunked claims that she is dating wave making music video director, Clarence Peters.

Chidinma, in an interview with the Beat 99.9FM, explained that the speculations came from a photograph she took with Clarence Peters, who she forced to take the photograph because he is a shy person. She explained before she could say ‘Jack Robinson’, it was all over that they were in a relationship.

“Clarence is camera shy and I had to hold his hands, so nothing is going on between us,” she disclosed, but when she was asked if she has any plan for marriage, she broke the silence and busted the bubbles of all her admirers

She is known to change up her hair colour from time to time. And on Thursday Kim Kardashian revealed that she and her husband Kanye West don't agree on the best hair color for her. 'Kanye likes the blonde,' the 33-year-old reality princess told People at her Kardashian Sun Kissed event at ULTA Beauty Los Angeles. 'But I think I’m going to stay dark.

'I was talking about this yesterday actually with Kanye,' she said. 'He asked if I would ever go back to blonde. 'I was like, "Not right after a baby, because my face was so swollen and it looked like my lips were huge. My face was just off. The beauty has been raven haired for several months.
However, if choosing to go blonde again, Kim may go a less permanent route. 'After I saw [me blonde] it was definitely fun, but then I thought that I can just wear a wig if I really have the urge. It was so easy,' she said. In June, the mother-of-one debuted a blonde do that turned out to be just a wig. She also discussed the sunless tanner she is promoting.

'I try and put it on once a week,' Kim said. 'You look so healthy and thinner when you are tan. But you have to exfoliate and we have a tan extender to make sure your tan lasts as long as possible.' She discussed 35-year-old Kourtney and 30-year-old Khloe's use of the product as well. The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Tuesday led members of the church to offer prayers for the release of the over 200 Chibok schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram in April.
Adeboye also offered prayers for a quickdivine intervention in the Ebola VirusDisease ravaging the West Africa sub-region as the 2014 RCCG Annual Convention got under way in Mowe, Ogun State.
Nigeria announced its first Ebola death on Wedesday, naming the matron that treated the late Patrick Sawyerr on July 20 as the victim.
Adeboye charged the congregation to pray for the schoolgirls, who were kidnapped in the premises of the Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State. Only about 51 of the 276 schoolgirls kidnapped have escaped from their abductors.

President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday in Washington DC, USA, made a case for more and effective international sanctions against the Islamic terrorist sect, Boko Haram as well as other groups involved in terrorism.
The President also sought similar fate for countries, organisations and individuals sponsoring terrorism in any part of the world.
According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati, the President made the call in a speech at the US-African Leaders Summit.
Jonathan was quoted as calling for more effective global action and implementation of all existing international protocols against terrorism and violent extremism.

He observed that some of the security problems being faced by Nigeria and other African countries were trans-national in scope and could not be resolved by any country acting alone.
He said that because terrorism, piracy and trans-national organised crimes had become global in scope, greater regional and international collaboration were needed to combat them.
Jonathn said, “Several African countries, including Nigeria, are now challenged by terrorism and violent extremism. For several countries in the continent, terrorism has become a real threat to social progress, peace and security.
“The violent and criminal activities of Boko Haram in my country have captured the world’s attention. This has been especially so since the terrorist group abducted some girls from their school dormitory in the North-Eastern Nigeria in April.
“Nigeria may be the epicentre of Boko Haram terrorist activities at the moment, but its affiliation with international terrorist networks, dramatically increases its capacity and reach beyond Nigeria’s borders.
“Nigeria is doing everything possible to combat Boko Haram and violent extremism. While we continue to enhance our intelligence and military capacities, we are, at the same time, working on political and socio-economic solutions. We are also building partnerships, both at the regional and international levels, to combat the threat posed by terrorism in our sub-region.

The discovery of a baby placenta in the residence of a man, identified simply as Alfa Gani, is causing confusion in the Laduba community, Ogidi area of Ilorin, Kwara State.
Our correspondent gathered on Thursday that the discovery was made when some volunteers went round the Laduba community to appeal for financial contributions from residents for the repair of a faulty transformer in the area.
It was said that the volunteers perceived offensive odour at Gani’s residence, which they later reported to other members of the community.
It was said that curious to know what smelled, some members of the community rushed to Gani’s residence and demanded an explanation for the offensive odour oozing from his house.
An eyewitness, who pleaded anonymity, told PUNCH Metro that Gani initially accused the community members of intruding into his privacy.

Minister of Health, Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu
The Federal Government has placed 69 persons who had first contact with the Liberian-born victim of Ebola Virus Disease, Patrick Sawyerr, on surveillance, while two persons have been quarantined, the Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, has said.
He also said government had not shut its borders for now, “except when it becomes necessary.”
According to him, the 69 persons will be under surveillance for a period of three weeks from the date of contact in line with the specifications of the World Health Organisation.
The minister at a joint press briefing with the Minister of Information, Mr. Labaran Maku, on Thursday on the update of the virus, said Sawyerr with dual citizenship from both Liberia and United States, was confirmed dead barely four days after arrival in Nigeria.
He said, “We decided on the proper manner on how to dispose off his body because the corpse of any victim of Ebola disease is very toxic. The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control decontaminated the body. We are tracking all those who had primary contact with him. As of today, 69 persons have been placed under surveillance while two persons have been quarantined.
