RomanceTheme: What Is Ur Priority - Ur Wedding Or Ur Marriage? A Chairman Speech by Snowkel(op): 1:58pm On Mar 07, 2018
I found this missives quite interesting and beneficial......

_ As the Chairman at the wedding reception and in line with my purpose, I told the audience a story of a friend who walked into my office few weeks after his wedding to borrow N20,000 for upkeep.
His wedding cost about N3 Million. Wedding is that one-day event; Marriage is that life-time experience. Would you prefer a fantastic wedding and a marriage full of financial frustration?
On the other hand, would you prefer a moderately priced wedding and a marriage where there is so much money to spend after buying the necessary items.
As an African thinker, I figured that the poverty in our society is induced by our insistence on impressing people that don’t care whether we exist or die.
My generation should consider the following:
1. At least 60% of attendees of Nigerian weddings are unknown to the couple. Guests wouldn’t even recognize couples on the street after the wedding, because there is no connection beyond the food and drinks.
2. Lower class and middle class weddings in Nigeria are largely financed by the entire savings of couples who must have worked for long hours with meager income for a period of three to five years and left to start their lives from scratch after this one-day event.
3. Our weddings are conducted under the impression that guest would present quality gifts to couples, but in end the, couples get plastics and kitchen utensils as if their entire life would be spent in the kitchen.
4. The society and family members can afford to sponsor the supply of drinks and food at weddings rather than sponsor business ideas that can sustain marriages of a couples for a lifetime.
5. We can put an end to financial frustration in marriages and domestic violence if the monies spent during weddings are diverted to help couples comfortably start their lives. Don’t let anyone put you under pressure! Anyone who insists on an elaborate wedding should provide the money.
‘Aso Ebi’ is not compulsory!(My mother and my family folks know that there is no mortal man living or dead, that can compel me to buy Aso Ebi) Bridal train is not by force! Groom’s men are not essential!
The most important memory of any wedding is the picture of the smiling couple, which is placed on the wall of every home.
This picture does not show the cost of renting the reception hall. It does not show the price of the cake or cost of decoration or the rented Limousine. It is better to monetize gifts for couples to decide what to do with it.
A monetary gift after a wedding is more valuable than before the wedding. The society should demonstrate genuine love for couples.
*If you can afford it, please ‘turn it up’! Otherwise, don’t let anyone put you under pressure*"

Health2 Brothers Who Injected Themselves With Dangerous Chemicals For Big Biceps by Snowkel(op): 4:54pm On Feb 09, 2018
Two Brazilian brothers with biceps measuring more than 25 inches have revealed the secret to their incredible size - regular chemical injections.

Tony 'Hulk' Geraldo , 49, and Alvaro 'Conan' Pereira, 50, have both been injecting dangerous chemicals since their teens to make them as big as possible.

The brothers, from Rio de Janeriro, Brazil, claim there was a time when they were 'addicted to getting big' but now believe they have it under control.

As well as regular injections, the brothers work out together for hours every day and follow a strict diet.

Mr Geraldo explains that he eats every three hours; usually egg, sweet potatoes and meat. Mr Pereira eats four times a day, both trying to hit 4,000 to 6,000 calories a day.

They'll often consume 12 bananas and six egg whites before a work out.

The bulky brothers There have been times where they've been so big that they can't fit through doors.

Mr Pereira has been injecting his biceps and legs with a supplement called Potenay B12 on and off since he was 15 years old.

His younger brother, followed in his footsteps when he turned 18, after seeing what the drugs did to his brother's muscles.

They explain that they started injecting chemicals as they both felt like they were 'too skinny' - Mr Geraldo weighed 49kg as a teenager, and Mr Pereira weighed 70kg.

Mr Pereira said: 'Back then we were [addicted.] Today, no. I have it under control. People around me didn't let me go on the wrong path and I did the same with my brother. He always wants to be bigger, but I always tell him that we need to be careful.'

The brothers inject the chemical in cycles - two times a week with five days in between.

Now, each of Mr Geraldo's bulging biceps measure 28 inches in circumference and his brother boasts 25-inch biceps

Unsurprisingly, their main inspirations are Arnold Schwarzenegger and in particular when he starred as Conan The Barbarian.

The bodybuilders' doctor has recently insisted they stop injecting for health reasons, and because their skin cannot stretch anymore.

Potenay B12 should only be used for veterinary purposes, on animals such as horses. But Brazil has seen an increase in people injecting the supplement to get bigger, quicker.

Mr Pereira's wife, who he met at the gym, and his seven children support him in getting big.

Mr Geraldo, a father-of-three, has been married for 27 years and his wife doesn't agree with him carrying on with his injections.

Their family have always been particularly worried about Mr Geraldo using Potenay B12 as he has high blood pressure, but he says he has told his wife he can live with it or leave him.

Tony said: 'My wife doesn't like it. However, I am happy with myself. She has to accept me like I am, or we will have to go on separate ways.
'I usually tell my wife that she's the only one who doesn't like me. Other women love my size, they love it.
'Once we were walking in front of my gym and I told her, "Look, if you don't want me there are several other girls who does". Then, pointed to all the girls coming to talk to me.'

Science/TechnologyRe: 9-Year-Old Emmanuelle Oziofu Develops A Food Website (Photo) by Snowkel(m): 12:36am On Feb 04, 2018
information1:
Miss Emmanuelle Oziofu, a nine-year-old of Fortune Schools in Benin, Edo State, Nigeria. Has created a website called Food Website set to originate in February 2018.

She made this known at her ninth birthday celebration where she enthused; “The website, known as Food website is to encourage both parents and children to eat healthy local and international dishes and to cut down on junk food. One of the contents of the website is Goodbye Junk Food, Hello Super Healthy Food, which contains all African food, continental dishes and a list of restaurants in various cities in the world.

The website also has a form for customers’ feedback. I am working on the food order, delivery content and also a mobile app that would be available on Google Play Store.

“At seven, I enrolled at Mikon Institute of Information Technology where I graduated with a certificate in Basic Training, with this I specialized in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. I also have a certificate in Desktop Publishing, Advance PowerPoint, Advance Excel, Corel Draw and Adobe Page Maker.”

On her driving force, Ozoifu said “hard work and support from my parents helped me achieve the feat, and I am encouraging children to embrace ICT as a tool for national development. I want to be a gynecologist in future, and I believe my knowledge of ICT will enable me to practice my profession better, make me more innovative and render quality health care service.”

The young ICT guru said she intends to teach children about ICT, expand her knowledge and break records before she turns 14.

Mr. Nelson Osamudiamen, Emmanuella’s instructor, described her love for ICT as incredible and said Emmanuella is ever ready to learn. “Emmanuella has learned how to design a website, and I look forward to teaching her Java and other related programmes so that she can also be a website developer.”

Osamudiamen advised parents and the Federal Government to create an enabling environment for children at a very young age to learn ICT. “Children in countries like China are doing very well when it comes to ICT; Nigerian children are smart and can also do well in ICT. The government should create a good ICT infrastructure in schools and the enabling environment for children to learn the course.”
