If the Chief of Defence had said that those calling for a coup were committing treason then that would make sense. Waving another country's flag is not a crime.

How many have they killed yet, how many have they arrested, how many have our brother from the west insulted or ridiculed? Non at all. Just close your eyes and imagine if the Russian flag were been fly in the East by the Igbos. The terrorist Nigerian army would've gone on shooting spree, majority of easterners would've been arrested , even those that have no connection with the flag would've been arrested too and thrown into prison.
