I just went through d thread reading about a monica highlighting d ills of punting and discouraging punters. Here are the 3 rules.

1. If u don't have a stable source of income, u have no business with punting
2. Don't borrow to punt, u might end up incurring more debt
3. Stake what u can afford to lose.

Additionally, don't stake huge money on 2 sure odds because there's nothing like sure odds. Take me for example I have never played 2 sure odds, because I have d money I would not stake 100k to win 200k, or 1m to win 2m because that's d quickest way to go bankrupt, instead find a range of 10, 15 to 30 odds and split in multiple tickets of different games or same games but with different market selections. It's better to divide dat 100k into 10 tickets than to use d 100k to play 2 odds and win 200k, dis is because u would be looking for sure games to get d 2 odds, and na sure games dey cut tickets pass. D chances of u winning one ticket from d 10 is higher than u winning 2 sure odds with d same money. I hope dis helps

Hello guys, as we get ready for the next batch of competition, just a quick one, I need your advice on a financial matter on investment.

I'm stuck in-between two investment decisions with 1m:
1. To buy a car(Civic, City or Yaris) and give out on rental for E-hailing business (Uber, Bolt e.t.c)
2. To start building the foundation of my house, as I have a plot of land at Mowe Ofada.

If I start building straight up, I need more money to continue with it, I feel with a car on rental, I can make back that capital and start building later, however, I'm just so scared of how Drivers turns Partner's car to nothing, coming up with different stories later. I've done such 5 years ago and it wasn't a sweet story.

Although, i do have a job and a side hustle that pays a little well. Money I make from punting, I rarely save it, I use it to run daily expenses (Gen & car fueling) and solving family needs.

Pls guys, what do you suggest that I do?
