Please urgent advice is needed. So I decided to do Tbills and I went to fcmb to open an account to that effect. my acct no was given to me dat day, but do to my acct official is a family friend n also acct official to my family members. she started telling me stories abt my plan to invest on tbill, dat she will not advice me to so. So I abandoned d acct and switched over to stanbic. At stanbic it took me a week and just to get my account number dat I hv to visit d bank on two occasions to know why my acct number is not yet out. I don't know if is cos I told my account official my plan to invest on tbill with d account or just protocol. I finally got d acct number. so when I submitted my offer to d lady at the customer care whom I use to complain to when I was trying to gt my acct number, she started being dis unprofessional friendly. To the extent d day I went to collect my certificate, she started telling me dat I must hv their app on my phone. When I gav her my phone to install d app, she took a shot with my phone and even mandated me not to delete the pic and dat she will check it the next time I visit d bank. Just dis evening I received a call from the lady dt opened the account for me which is my account official asking me of how she can locate my house. Saying dat the people dy sent to verify my address couldn't located my house, I told her I don't understand dat I hv not heard of address verification from my other banks and dat I will visit d bank tomorrow for clarification. she too me is not necessary dat she will come by her self to do the verification and to forward my address to the head office. Seriously am not understanding anymore is all dis really still part of the banking process or should I be concern and pls what should I do? |
