Guys, Please what are your take on this:

So i have been following this tread for some time and from poplular recommendations to others , I was convinced and then I ordered and received a 3.2kwh battery from a buider on this forum. The delivery was fast, no delays. Although the set did not come with any accessories, no baterries cable etc . This was as stated by the builder. ....(only the battery box in a plastic build with a small bms screen and a button). All as advertised. So no issues there. This setup cost #550k (delivery inclusive). All i got in addition was the waybill receipt

The truth is, my friend who ordered for a 26.5v(100Ah) itel 2.5kwh battery, received theirs yesterday:
To my supprise, the itel battery Bank alone was 2.5 to 3 times heavier than mine, the setup was built in a solid steel housing case, has 3 internet communication ports, and 3 other advanced looking ports. Came with ALL the comm ports cables, also came with two 20 mm solid +/- battery cables , 3 year warrenty card, thick steel wall brackets, metallic wall screws, some addtional bolts and nuts and many more.
And all this cost #481k (including delivery fee).

Now I know why people crave the itel battery pack.

Although I have to say I over expected much for mine, but the person i bought mine from did not give me the kind of attention(as a first time customer as i would have wanted) the response sometimes was quite slow (had to literally push for any information with response coming anything it comes) no step by step on how to do much. I had to ask about value to set for bulk and float etc, Had to push and ask or most times google some stuff on my own. (I am not saying the seller did anything wrong o) but sincerly I dont think I may patronise the person in the future.I like my business partners to be approacheable irrespective of the value or amount involved in the trade......(my choice)

So, the itel on the other had virtually a full hands on manual that explains EVERYTHING you can do, clearly defined warranty card and many more quality of life stuffs you know.....

Although, I for one became a bit skeptical about the build i received (when i recall the itel heavy weight and quality) but everytime i checked the jk bms app, i showed all the cells adds up to 3.2kwh (see image). Even still, my mind still tells me I should have gone with the Itel due to its solid built, wall handing capability, solid customer and aftersales support, the quality of work and support it has.
(I thought going for "3.2kwh" was better than "2.5kwh" so i had to stop my initial itel order for the local build).

Its well sha

Forgive me for my long epistle...Just wanted to air my thoughts man.

Thanks Guys
I might be wrong but I see this as itel promotion, lol. Well, speaking about googling thing, that's how you build character and knowledge when it comes to learning. In addition, I'd really want to see the battery grade and actual capacity because I know for sure their "30,000mah" is lesser than advertised so I believe the same thing with their shinny battery box too.

Conclusively, to each their own, but I am not interested in aesthetics but rather value, peace and honesty, I don't care if it is "wooden" if it works and delivers when I want it to, then that's all that matters.

Take Penuelseun suggestion above, as his advice is more practical if you want total dependence on solar. But in that case 1.5m won't be enough.

Go for a hybrid inverter 24v 4.2kva 330k

Get best Lithium battery deal from Mrreed 580k for 4.4kwh 24v

Get about 6 pieces of 550 or 600watts at least 700k (Panels are really big and heavy o so make sure you got roof space for it)

Budget better funds for installation and materials.

My reason for suggestion?

On load;
Assuming the average power of each charging brick is 25w, at full usage you're pulling over 2.5kw upwards that's why a 4.2kva inverter is suggested (Some chargers pull more)

Panels;
Your panels at full yield should be giving about 3.6kw, this means you will be able to fully utilize sunlight for daytime charging while getting your 4.4kwh battery filled by night time.

Battery size;
Assuming less loads in the evening, a 4.4kwh battery should carry you till 9pm with some juice left to begin the next day. Anything less won't give you optimal service and you may still need to use alternative source of electricity.

Note: A deep freezer's load isn't really significant as consumption is very low generally.

I want to appeal to all of us to try and be respectful to others here. You may not like someone's opinion, but definitely there's something to learn from it. To people that have questions, most of these questions have been answered in a few posts back, don't be lazy, try read up make we no dey litter thread.

@ bassdow permit me to use your method of long posts for once 😁
what brand is this?

Which battery are you using? LiFePO4 can take up to 100A. But do 80A and check.
the max is 80A, I'll revert back by morning, however I saw another "60" without "a" left it that way, I am guessing that's for grid( I don't charge with grid), yes, it's a lithium battery made by valto with a jk BMS.

Increase it. Mind you, once battery is full it will cut down yield to match load on inverter.
to how many?

Increase your pv charging current for maximum yield. Probably stuck at 40A.
it's 60a

Gshems:
2 possibilities : it's either it is a fake or the angle that you installed it.
I have 3x 550w jinko for my 12v 2kva inverter and on a regular charging I get 350w, I need to mention that I treat it like an egg, max load it takes is less than 150w, but I get up to 1.2kw input from the panels when I am blending during the day. I think some of these inverters behaves like ajebo when they don't have enough loads.

I am not a professional in things like this but off my head, I will use a settimeout to restrict generation after every click with a UI notice the user. or use user's geolocation or device info to restrict the users to certain numbers of generation.

Happy new year folks, I took time out to recharge and start on a fresher note in 2026.
the plan is to run through the remaining 4 "important" chapters before the end of the month(just reading, subsequent chapters have very minimal exercises so i will skip them), then hit the ground running with Spring Boot.

I am torn between using Chad Darby's course or one Indian bald headed egbon and Read Spring Starts Here.
but I have started using this guy's playlist to see how things looks.

Last week has been slow still stuck in chapter 10, my learning hour - I wrote a script that tracks my screen time in my LM PC has been less than 5 hrs for the PDF reader and the IntelliJ. I am not going to beat myself up. there were days I was progressively fast and grasping thing and most importantly, I am literally learning a new language fgs.

I am happy for my "former" friend she texted me she got a job on Upwork although she bought connect to land them. I did not ask further for details so that it does not seem like I am establishing a severed connection.

On the positive side, I am in day 4 of AOC using JavaScript. I dun abandoned Java, I will hopefully use Java in 2026. I struggled on day 2 for almost 2 days. It has made me realise that I have skills issues and my DSA is shiiiiiiittttttttttttt.

Well, new week is upon us and I am hopeful it is productive.

PhonesRe: The Xiaomi Thread. by SourYoghurt: 6:36pm On Dec 07, 2025
I have a Xiaomi 11t 5g, lately there's a green line and occasional pink line that shows up at using it for like 30 minutes and disappears on its own or when I off the screen. When I put it back on it shows up at intervals. The phone didn't fall.

If it's the screen is it worth replacing because the original on AliExpress is around 60k. The phone is my secondary phone for timelapse shorts and less than 1hr usage for edit on capcut.
If I choose to use it, will it deteriorate to becoming unusable?

I am struggling to maintain speed like I planned, my allergies has been a constant hindrance, I was okay until I went out to pick Aliexpress package and they are currently fixing the road leading to the pick up centre so there so much dust that my hairline was looking like that meme that trended a few years ago in East Africa I have attached the image, The past 3 days was hell, I was sneezing and my eyes were reddd, itchy, watery and visible tiny veins popping out, my friend who is a baby dockay asked me to take Piriton. I think I am better but I am just round off chapter 10, no sawama grin

I do not know if it was my health, I struggle a lot with this polymorphism, I know what it means and what it does but I do not know but some surface rules are slipping through my fingers, hopefully the self exercises part reinforces it. I met some indian dude on a discord sever and they said I have wasted too much time learning that I should have moved on to SpringBoot already, guess what, he is a learner like me but I just told him okay, he sent an AI generated TOC and that thing be combining 2 chapters in 1 week, lol.

He might be right, two truth can coexist, but me I am not that smart like that and it is disastrous to use American people's effort to judge myself when my location and Identity has set me back 4 points behind. with minimal effort, if Rahul an HR or CTO is trying to hire and is stuck between me a minimal effort candidate and his brother Dhruv a minimal effort candidate too, he will gladly pick Dhruv because they have relatable connection( yes, I will do the same and you might too). I am saying all these because I find his opinion to be dangerous because if i follow his advice, I can rush things and jump into spring and struggle and start feeling, "maybe it was the bit that i skipped" so I will take my time, if i will do this until August 2026, that is fine. my goal is to become good and know why x behaves the way it does not a developer that can make it work but not how it works.

Advent of Code is starting in less than 20hrs, I will jump on it and see if i can solve a few with Java. I will share my solution in a separate thread. sir Seun, I hope that will not get me banned?

Time to start solving exercises.

Hey trytillmake, I want to beat unemployment, l want to build enterprise level web applications for now and maybe cross platform in future I like the stability that come with it compared to web.

I am a c# guy actually leant jjava se in 1 night,, when I had a job to build an app for a client then ,10 pm to 6am, I remember then.
I read the they are similar in concept, C# is MS version of Java , the difference is syntax, however, picking it up in a night is wild ngl. unfortunately, I cannot speed learn this way, because I need to master it comfortably and the textbook I am using is stretching my learning tolerance in a good way.

Good luck to u, Java still very the Baba.

you can ignore my question if you do not want doxx yourself, are you building in the banking/finance sector?

Alphabyte3:
There two ways of building svelte and spring boot by building the it together src/main/webapp/svelte Or split it into backend (server) and frontend (client). Your build tool (Vite, Webpack, etc.) would need to be configured to recognize. Use JavaScript's fetch API or a library like axios within your Svelte components to make HTTP requests to your Spring Boot backend's REST APIs.

Checkout this guide Maybe it might be useful.

Hey Oseni, I just spent a couple of minute going through your app, well-done, Please do not take my opinion in bad faith and take it with 100M bags of salt.

You are not a UI designer or rather I want to assume you are not someone with knowledge of UI design skills so trying to reinvent the wheel by using your own idea to "thug" it out is not the best of UI making decision because people will judge your UI aesthetics based on if it is well made or not if you want to be a front-end developer. You can use Dribble, Behance or Pinterest to source for inspiration I am very confident someone, a UI designer has made a UI for front-end that can suit your need.

1. the button for Bible Quote, I think you can do better, the border radius be giving 2000s websites vibes unless your intention is to make it a retro theme website - which I do not think is the case. I will suggest you instead move the button to the middle of your screen and add a p tag with text telling the user that they should click the bottom and reduce the button BR to <20px if you are concerned about when questions are generated, you can toggle it display to hidden using js when you start quiz and return back when no question is displayed, it helps you learn more about DOM manipulations.

2. I like the fact that you are sticking to 3 diff colours, I always do this just 3 colours - primary, secondary and another colour. well-done.

3. The Image, ughhhh, it is too "pixelated", are you using a very small image, if yes, go on pexel . com you wll find great images that will suit your need. in addition, the background grows when you show larger number of questions and make it worse(I am viewing on PC), set a def height for the wrapping element and let it scroll. so the background image can be set to a specific height.

I think those are the immediate observations I can make, however, welldone chief you are trying. How is HNG coming along for you?

Happy new week, Last week has been slow, harmattan is here and it is one of the worst season for me as I constantly breakdown with allergies, already had first attack - blocked nostril, aggressive itchy eyes and general discomfort. All my room windows are locked.

I have an X account with premium subscription but I wish there's a way to automate posts, maybe I will research and see if X have an open API for that but my concern is if they will not rate-limit or suspend the account.

There is this Swedish based startup that I would looooooooveee to work at I checked their career page, they use Nodejs(I will learn Node if that is what it takes), these people are biggg, their last series C funding was $150M, they are in the legal-tech space, I senior the CEO sef kiss . lol. Added his company in my Notion.

I was dooming scrolling Reddit yesterday and i found a post on r/java where folks are asking about their go-to tech, everyone who mentioned Svelte + Springboot has good things to say and I love to see it, lol.

Well, currently in chapter 10 and well, it will take super super lock-in to complete 10 and 11 before 1st Dec sha. these are my high level plan for the day week so let's keep our fingers crossed.

The goal this week is to round off inheritance and start polymorphism and hopefully, I complete that.

I will go get a huge Shawarma if i can complete the next 2 chapters before 1st of December. I just want to start Springboot ASAP so i can show off my projects, terminal/console projects are not really cool to flaunt.
