Seriously, what's so bad or immoral about betting?
I don't think Betting and gambling are the same thing. to me, 'betting' sounds way cooler than 'gambling'

I don't know where people get the notion that gambling leads people to hell I don't see anything wrong in it. Its just like every other thing in life where you loose some, and you win some.
I just made 5k from betting in the barca and arsenal match, and my mum was like "Christians don't bet" and she ended up eating from the money

so I really want to know why its bad.

please lets consider sport betting from this aspect..we all want to believe that gambling is a realy bad thing and that betting a gambling..
Well, i beg to disagree.truth be told the whole business world is a gambling platform.buying a product with hope of making profit is taking a gamble on that product..

Now u might want to say,dats for Goods, now consider shares and stock exchange, what would you call a man who buys shares with a company and sits at home expecting to shares to appreciate? Tell me its not the same thing..

We have made this believe overtime from societal norms..but mostly, it realy gets addictive.and waging 100 naira to win millions is just prepostrous..

And for the guy who said people dont make a living out of it.ure just naive.cuz people do. There are yearly and quaterly and half a year working plan to give u good money on the long run..
