Tinubu is working towards frustrating the refinery since it will put an immediate end to the fuel importation business overnight and it's through importation that those guys steal dirty.moreso, Tinubu owns Oando which imports fuel in large quantities

For ease of concept, using your example, to get 12.8%, you simply calculate what 12.8% of available outstanding shares of dangote refinery is (will need to wait for the issued shares information to be out when it gets listed on NSE for better info), multiply it by the price of the day or whatever price you target to purchase it for, pay the amount and brokerage fee Voila! you beat NNPC to the race.

Remember, available shares for transaction varies with time and other numerous factors considering other investors have equity pre-IPO.The higher the percentage you acquire, the more challenging it gets to purchase through direct market, you will need to use your broker for off-market/ crossdeal purchase for faster transaction. If patience is your middle name, you can acquire over period of weeks to years.
