You will hear the coach after the match " we go back to the drawing board " . The Cameroon team didn't do anything spectacular they took their set pieces very well. |

Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Spainever(m): 6:50pm On Aug 09 |
Ajibade working hard providing different assist for goals. We are not clinical enough ..Cameroon had just 1 shot on goal and that was the goal |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Spainever(m): 6:43pm On Aug 09 |
I hope the goal gift Monday missed wipo not hunt us o 😂. In a game like this you must be clinical . There is no opportunity to correct mistakes |

JohnBullMySon: Alozie draws a card. This is why they shouldn't be marking like that.
It's easier to beat a defender that is man marking. The coach cause it . Playing her in wrong position will create danger for us . With another yellow card she will be sent out . I know don't rate this coach |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Spainever(m): 6:15pm On Aug 09 |
A red card against us will be a terrible blow . Alozie shoojd play her natural right back |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Spainever(m): 6:15pm On Aug 09 |
CornOak: A very needless yellow card from Alozie. Now, they will explore her wing to the fullest. I don't know why she is drawing person 😭 |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Spainever(m): 6:14pm On Aug 09 |
Na Alozie go cost us this match . The coach knows this girl can't play left back 😭 |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Spainever(m): 5:57pm On Aug 09 |
In the days of Roger Milla and Thomas Nkono Cameroon really dealt with Nigerian team . They deny us several AFCONS and world cup qualification. Our Super Falcons also have dealt with their female team . Today game is not just a match but a war . I hope Nigeria will not have a red card |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Spainever(m): 5:55pm On Aug 09 |
Katcall: so if you perform woefully in the tournament and you rank high in fifa, you will get seeded If you perform badly in tournament and you play high profile matches against top countries like Brazil ,Spain or USA and you win you will have more points that will improve your ranking . Ranking is not based on only tournament. Nigeria did not play at world cup but we are still rank ahead of Congo and South Africa |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Spainever(m): 12:12pm On Aug 09 |
isan: CAF don't seed top teams....they seed by FIFA ranking or performance in previous AWCONS ...before Una start another conspiracy theory It is not by previous performance it is based on FIFA rankings . This is not theory this normal thing done . Top ranked teams are seeded |

JohnBullMySon: They’re paying heavily for that mistake now
MAR gently dismantling their team. It was a huge mistake |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Spainever(m): 10:14pm On Aug 08 |
Is like this year is for Morocco o 😂. They have dismantle SA ,only Nigeria / Cameroon standing between them and trophy 🏆. Zambia would have been another rough opponent. Nigeria must win to avoid play off saga . |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Spainever(m): 9:52pm On Aug 08 |
CAF seeded top teams like South Africa so that they can avoid Morocco for the world cup ticket , unfortunately SA failed to top the group . Nigeria must take their chances tomorrow. Nigeria must avoid the play off saga |

Justice505: Very fine player, abiodun is what the super Falcons lack in the first game, I wonder why the coach did not start her in the first game. The coach gave Malawi the win through poor selection . The coach does not know the players ,hence gambling with team selection. Malawi so lucky to qualify ahead of Zambia |

Napoleon55: Because we were not the affected team by this rule after scoring the highest number of goals,we won't complain. Look at the format they are using for U17 and U20 world cup qualification and you would agree that CAF is confused, they are just a continental version of NFF. Head to head affected us in 2006 world cup qualification. We had over plus 21 goals and Angola had less than 10 goals but Angola qualify because they defeated Nigeria in Luanda and drew in Nigeria |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Spainever(m): 4:54pm On Aug 06 |
Nigerians should thank Uche Kanu for scoring the last minute goal against Malawi , that goal qualify us ahead of Zambia . |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Spainever(m): 4:48pm On Aug 06 |
PDPGuy: Ordega and Ogbonna being dropped is pretty much guaranteed, especially if they don’t feature at all at this WAFCON Not with this coach o . Last time he dropped gift Monday even when she was in top form . There is politics in team selection . |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Spainever(m): 11:36pm On Aug 05 |
Danielnino00: One thing with our local coaches is that they always have one or two players they select every time regardless of whether they are in form or not...it's mostly due to nepotism, or money change hand or some other benefits they hope to get from the player. After Ijamilusi was dropped against Zambia, it was surprising to see her start today...she had no impact on the game.. Monday and Babajide that Madugu has always been reluctant to give game time had a better performance than her... Just like the last AFCON when Madugu didn't see Esther as a starter until her impact forced him to start her in subsequent games... Gift Monday and Babajide should have more playing time than Ijamilusi .This is one of the major advantages of foreign coach , merit over nepotism . Player like Ortega has no business there |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Spainever(m): 11:33pm On Aug 05 |
olapluto: Cameroon vs Nigeria. Old classic, new faces. Madugu will thrive here. Straight up physical battle. 1 goal nicks it. Hopefully he select the right players , because it appears Babajide and Gift should not always be on the bench |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Spainever(m): 11:32pm On Aug 05 |
The last minute goal against Malawi by Uche Kanu saved us and gave us the ticket . Otherwise Zambia would have qualify ahead of Nigeria |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Spainever(m): 11:29pm On Aug 05 |
Why Gift Monday 😭 was left on the bench against Malawi and Zambia . I believe she deserved to have more playing time . Babajide and Monday gift should have more time |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Spainever(m): 11:18pm On Aug 05 |
I am wondering if the coach has deal to market ijamusi ? We can see that Babajide and Uche Kanu have more impact than ijamusi but coach prefer her . The coach should make right selection against Cameroon |
