How to root Galaxy S8 with Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus (CF-Auto-Root Method)

Follow the steps to root either your Samsung Galaxy S8 plus or S8

1. First you need to unzip Odin and install it on your PC

2. Also Unzip Chainfire zip file and retrieve .tar.md5 file on your PC.

3. Turn off your phone off and enter into download mode: press and hold Volume Down + Bixby buttons simultaneously and then press the Power key until you see the construction Android robot sign.

4. Hold down the Volume Up Key once the open Odin on your PC and Connect Either your Samsung Galaxy S8 or Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus while it’s in Download mode. When connected successfully.

5. A Message from Odin like "Added" and also notice that one of the ID.COM boxes Change Color to Yellow. [If you didn't see this changes, try another USB port or If it doesn’t help, then re-install USB drivers]

6. In ODin on Your PC, Click on AP / PDA button and select the extracted CF-Auto-Root .tar.md5 file.

7. Ensure Auto Reboot and F, Reset Time are selected, click on Start to initiate the root process until it is complete.

8. A PASS message will be displayed and and ID:COM will turn green.

10. You will notice your device automatically reboots in the Recovery mode and install the necessary files which will later shows an home screen.

11. Go ahead to disconnect your Samsung Galaxy S8 or Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.

Note: In case your device gets stuck at boot screen after installation and doesn’t boot into recovery mode, you will have to do the entire procedure once again for safety and properly follow the guides [Not Step should be Skipped].
