So if i write "Obasanjo" or "Ojukwu" that means they are written in English alphabets? You are wrong! they automatically become Yoruba and Igbo name respectively.

And the 'Pidgin English' you cited is also a form of English, the 'pidgin' preceding it is an adjective describing or qualifying the type of English it is, the broken one.

Even in Arabics, there are dialects or modified forms.
You cited Songhai, mande e.t.c, any connection towards Arabic, even not in it's purest form is still Arabic.

I can write in Ondo or Ijebu dialect, they are both Yoruba languages and a Yoruba from Oyo or Osun may not understand, it still doesn't say what i have written in those dialects are not Yoruba dialects or standard Yoruba derivatives, so if someone from Saudi Arabic can't understand what is written on the uniform as you said just because of its modified form, they are still connected to Arabic, of course, there are modified Arabic across Arabic speaking comunities, even among Shuwab Arabs in the North and some nearby countries, there is slight deviation from the standard but some may still understand the standard Arabic.

Bottom line, deviation from the standard or inability to understand the derived form doesn't say it's no more connected to the source which is Arabic..
