The phone is fluid to operate,super slim,super light,you'll think its fragile but it isn't.I don't want to start up arguments but at this price range,this is the GREATEST device you can get.Gionee's packaging is super,I got two shopping bags,a power bank at 2200mah capacity,a screen protector....let me stop here for now......

I got this phone last week Saturday and believe me the Phone is super sweet just that am having a little problem with the battery... it's not lasting as I thought every other thing is woow.

[color=olive]*Copy browser.apk to a folder on ur device’s SD card, Also make sure you know the path where you have copied it on the SD card.

*Open root explorer and locate browser.apk in ur SD card

*Once you have located the required APK on the SD card from root Explorer, tap-and-hold on its icon till u get a menu, select ‘Cut’.

*Now press the back button till you reach the internal memory of the device and then browse to /system/app/ and paste the apk.

*Now find the app’s icon in the list of files there, tap-and-hold on it till you get the options menu.

*Scroll down in the menu 2 Permissions to bring up the permissions dialog.

*A mount query will pop u, just select Yes 2 grant mount access.

*Make sure everything under ‘READ’ is checked.
Only ‘USER’ is checked under
‘Write’ and nothing is checked under ‘Execute’.
By doing so, u have set the app permission to "rw-r-r"

*REBOOT UR DEVICE
*GOTO APPS MAIN MENU AND OPEN BROWSER

Giifted: I got Gionee M1 @ Omegatron in Benin last week.
It has 512MB ram n d Os is 4.1.2 not 1GB ram n Os 4.2 as claimed. Anyway d fone is cool but there's no H+ or 3.75g network, jus H, so its a bit slow, imo. My final disappointment, no OTA, as dis was my reason for buying it. Other than these, Gionee M1 is cool!

I've been a Tecno fan since 2010 before the launching of their first android device and have not had any problem with their products.
I recommend Tecno to everyone cos of its durability and affordability.

OCTAVO: Yeah, and the second one is light Sensor. Controls flash when taking pics during the day[flash is turned off].
Proximity Sensor makes the on screen light go off when on call. If you pull phone away from your ear, your phone screen light comes on again.
