The system of running the government is making the state poor and to be over dependent on the federal government in almost everything. Until we restructure and do the right thing. Imagine in a big and giant country like Nigeria only three states can fund their budget. If this continue in the year 2030 every Nigerians will become lazy and depends on federal government. This is not good for a country. This is one of the major reasons the Nigerian naira keep falling and the poor economy.

Nigeria should not supposed to have 36 states In the first place. Most of those states are unproductive and should be merged with other states.

Nigeria need to dump this unitary system of government and practice true federalism with reconstructed federation.
