Kwara state is the most backward and miserable state in Nigeria. Nothing is going on in that state year in, year out.
The only time you hear about them is during presidential elections.
It should merged with Niger or kebbi state. |

Both Lagos and south east was affected, but see you can only hear about one useless and outdated youth wing blabbing around. I pity anyone who look up to them as mentor. Lagos is cosmopolitan. Why didn't it affect the rest of the 5 SW states? |

Why bringing tribal bigotry in sensitive sector like education ? What's wrong these people ?

Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by stanluiz(m): 9:02pm On May 15, 2025 |
Appleyard: Brother, have you read an excerpt of the speech Trump gave at the meeting with Satan Arabia? I don't know if I'm dreaming or not. It's quite revealing. For the first time, the US foreign policy read anti-interventionism and openly admitted that unipolarism as spearheaded by America since the end of the cold war was wrong. Then it goes on to canvass for a new multipolar world order, one in which no single nation would dictate to others how to run things. Unbelievable!!!
First, it was Rubio's astonishing words on the same issue:
....And I think that was lost at the end of the Cold War, because we were the only power in the world, and so we assumed this responsibility of sort of becoming the global government in many cases, trying to solve every problem. And there are terrible things happening in the world. There are. And then there are things that are terrible that impact our national interest directly, and we need to prioritize those again. So it’s not normal for the world to simply have a unipolar power. That was not – that was an anomaly. It was a product of the end of the Cold War, but eventually you were going to reach back to a point where you had a multipolar world, multi-great powers in different parts of the planet. We face that now with China and to some extent Russia, and then you have rogue states like Iran and North Korea you have to deal with.
Now Trump....Here is a part of the speech:
Before our eyes, a new generation of leaders is transcending the ancient conflicts of tired divisions of the past and forging a future where the Middle East is defined by commerce, not chaos, where it exports technology, not terrorism, and where people of different nations, religions, and creeds are building cities together, not bombing each other out of existence. We don’t want that. (Applause)
And it’s crucial for the wider world to note this great transformation has not come from Western interventionists or flying people in beautiful planes giving you lectures on how to live and how to govern your own affairs. No, the gleaming marvels of Riyadh and Abu Dhabi were not created by the so-called nation-builders, neocons, or liberal nonprofits like those who spent trillions and trillions of dollars failing to develop Kabul, Baghdad, so many other cities. Instead, the birth of a modern Middle East has been brought by the people of the region themselves, the people that are right here, the people that have lived here all their lives, developing your own sovereign countries, pursuing your own unique visions, and charting your own destinies in your own way. It’s really incredible what you’ve done.
In the end, the so-called nation-builders wrecked far more nations than they built, and the interventionists were intervening in complex societies that they did not even understand themselves. They told you how to do it, but they had no idea how to do it themselves. Peace, prosperity, and progress ultimately came not from a radical rejection of your heritage, but rather from embracing your national traditions and embracing that same heritage that you love so dearly.
(Applause)
And it’s something only you could do. You achieved a modern miracle the Arabian way. That’s a good way.
(Applause)
Going by this new US foreign policy shift, Netanyahoo should be having sleepless nights right now. No wonder he is talking about weaning Israel's security off America's support.
Interesting times ahead. US foreign policy remain the same. Stop believing lies from trump and his team. The same trump that already selling 200$ billion of weapons to Saudi. That weapons will be used in yemen to kill innocent people again. |
Politics › Re: Jamb And Igbophobia by stanluiz(m): 8:57pm On May 15, 2025 |
MadPolitician: Igbos are being pushed to the wall by the APC. It is starting to look like the party only exists to make life difficult for the easterners.
These events are not coincidental. Someone who is afraid of competition but wants to lead, is behind this. Since statisense and co started dropping them datas that have unraveled all worn out narratives against the SE, ethnic champions from "that side" have gone on an overdrive.. It's crazy!
They started with the "miracle centers" propaganda to prepare the ground for all sorts of underhand practices, then this... The same way they are running haywire these days with the well orchestrated "Indian drug stories" all over the net.. Who knows where they're going with that one..?
Igbos and the eastern minorities should know that they are under vicious attacks by a government that should be protecting them, and that silence will only embolden the brains behind these attacks..
Learn to push back! Nothing concern us with Eastern minorities. Let those ones fight their battles. |

Angelfrost: Stop this please...!
There are other 3rd world nations treating their healthcare professionals better than we do.
No serious person can demand for the same things as those nations abroad, but the little we have here, what have we done with them?!!
How can Health workers and Military officers be earning far less than Lawmakers who barely do anything meaningful throughout the year?!! Any country that joke or play with their health, education and security is a failed nation. If your health, education and security are under equipped, under paid, under staff, your country is a failed nation. This is what is happening to Nigeria. How can politicians be earning both in salary and bonus more than doctors, nurses, teachers, policemen and soldiers ? It is insane and madness!! Nigeria politician salary is one of the highest in the world. No wonder, Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world. The money that is supposed to used to in development of human development is used to pay politicians and salary. No wonder politics is now a career and do or die affair in Nigeria. Such country won't progress until the right thing is done. |

JohnAOne: MAD PEOPLE.
I'm beginning to believe the technical glitch was an act of SABOTAGE to tarnish and indict the Pro. and JAMB as an organisation.
Findings point to an "Human Error" anyway.
The whole stuff reeks of negative tribal politics from the usual suspects. Sabotage that affects all the SE states ? The error is intentional, not a mistake. Somebody did it. |

What gives lagos an edge in seaport. People talk about PH seaport. They are limits and type of goods that you can import from PH seaport. But Lagos seaport. You can import everything. All seaport in Nigeria are not equal due to FG policy. |
