Antoeni: Why Nobody Asking Obasanjo of The $16B.For Power? Till today l am in shock l had high hopes that he would address the issue of electricity generation and distribution in Nigeria buttonno avail. For me the way to fix this electricity generation and distribution problem is to decentralise the national grid to regions and sub regions then bring in investor to build electricity generation plants and distribution plants in those regions and subregions and serve those regions and subregions in electricity generation and distribution. |

The truth is Mr Bwala should not have gone for the interview. It is not every interview that you should attend or rather go for. This interview ought to have been attended by someone who is Outstanding and Astute and Impeccable and also has Gravitas and Steeze
I would advise the government to rejig and restructure its cabinet. Some of its personnel should know their job functions and stick to their job functions and not go overboard to try to show their loyalty to the government and in the end make a show of themselves that makes a mockery of theirselves and bring ridicule to the government. |

Nteogwuija: Why can't they just decentralize power and have states generate their own? States who then have excess can sell to other states having deficits.
Why is it that all the governors do in this country is build roads, roads that can't last for 5 years?
Common waste disposal systems these men in state power can't make provisions for. You walk around cities and they're filled with debris.
Y is governance in Nigeria looking harder than going to the moon?
Modified: So, thanks to the Electricity Act 2023, states can now generate and transmit electricity, yet we aren't hearing news of governors finalizing deals with investors in the power sector.
All they do is collect money to pay salaries month after month. Very lazy set of brains we have as governors. Tueh! I have been wondering too.Why not decentralise the Grid to regional and subregions. Look at Benue State and Kogi State for example with the body of water resources why not harness it to generate electricity ? That Kogi State specially people are not seeing the huge potential for electricity generation, there. |

megawealth01: I was using JAIZ BANK to access UNITY BANK because I consider them NORTHERN I think the below is the quote onegentleguy: But for some inexplicable reason, this response should've been on the same date as your post above. ...didn't quite understand the difficulty with login in.
On JAIZ BANK, only if you knew that the glorified micro-finance bank as you put it, is among the top DMBs currently well placed to reap great returns from the persistently hawkish MP environment. Little wonder why there was an astronomical rise in NPM (ref: 185%) in their Q3, 2023 financial print, following a near 36,800bps growth from playing in certain class of FII.
Interestingly, the said bank is about the only quoted coy in that sector with a seeming "antibody" that shields her from certain policy restrictions by the regulator/Apex bank in view of her operating model.
Only if you knew that...
Most folks will recall I initially highlighted the value accretive potential in JAIZ BANK @ N1.4 at about the same time I gave a buy rating on STERLING @ N1.7--1.8. When that bank (JAIZ) begins it's run, "the jug will be 2.5--3x filled" before...
Technically, the chart is doing something I love to see.

I kept trying. Tried with a different bank and it went.
Question: I have submitted my mandates for e-dividend, where would the N200 fees (they plenty) be charged to? I didn’t see any option to pay, I just submitted.
I got an email acknowledge of the mandates submitted but how will know if the mandate are successful (no where to track). When i refresh the page, if just opens a new fresh page for e-dividend mandate submission. That is all you don't need to do anything else .You have given them your account details there so when dividend payment is around the corner they will debit your account for the said fees |
