Sir Emeka Offor, Nigerian Billionaire, To Donate $1 Million To End Polio

LAGOS, Nigeria -- Billionaire Sir Emeka Offor is donating $1.25 million to the Rotary Club's PolioPlus program to eradicate the paralyzing disease that attacks more people in his country, Nigeria, than any other in the world.

In a statement received Wednesday the oil and gas tycoon says "polio should have no place in our world."

Nigeria is the sticking point for efforts to rid the world of polio because of opposition from northern Muslim leaders who falsely preach that the vaccinations cause sterility and AIDS. The project also is opposed by Islamic extremists blamed for the killings of nine women health workers as they were vaccinating children against polio in northern Kano city in February.

Is tribalism or racism or any form of discrimination sinful according to the christian theology. I am asking because there is no place in the bible that condemns tribalism. Tribalism though can lead to sins like hatred, murder, envy,etc but is it a sin by itself?. May be it is just bad behaviour that is not sinful. What do you think?

If your surname is Evbakhabokun or Alamieyeseigha, where you wan start emigrating?. Will oyinbo be able to pronounce that name?. Will the space to fill in your surname in the form even be enough to fill your lengthy and impossible surname?. You see why emigration is not for every Nigerian. So if your surname is Evbakhabokun, Adelegbenro, Owuobokiri, njagidigada,Alamieyeseigha etc. please stay home because we Nigerians dey suffer to pronounce your last name and we can tolerate it so far because we no get choice but oyinbo no get time for that.

'Pleasant' accountant found dead in her four-bedroom home as son, 21, is arrested on suspicion of murder

A son was today arrested on suspicion of murder after his mother was found dead in their home.

Police were called to a large £350,000 four-bedroom property in Wickford, Essex, at about 10am where they discovered the body of a woman named locally as 46-year-old accountant Tolu Kalejaiye.

Her son, who is aged 21, was arrested shortly after and remained in custody tonight. Neighbours said they had been told the mother was stabbed to death, but it was not confirmed how she died.
More than 10 of Mrs Kalejaiye’s friends and family stood in tears this afternoon outside the family home, which remained cordoned off whilst a team of forensic officers worked inside the property.

Michael Day, 57, her neighbour on the quiet road, said: ‘I left my house at just gone 9.30am and when I came back 10 minutes later, there was all this commotion.
