That is because grandpa is not sincere. He just wants someone to look after him in his old age. Also men are scared to be alone during their old age, and expire faster if they are not partnered, while the reverse is true for women. See him looking old and frail while grandma looking fresh and agile. Grandma should run cos grandpa might suck all the life out of her taking care of him.
