MzJulie: I started using mine 3 months ago. The only problem is I can't check my balance manually, i.e by dialling #124#.. It's a 5s, dunno if there's a solution to that.. Aside that, I'm enjoying it...That's because you didn't buy factory unlocked iPhone. Your iPhone is chip unlocked. The solution is to unlock it officially. |

When you turn ON data roaming on the iPhone, Is 3G showing up too? if yes just download tetherme from Cydia. That should solve your data issue. |

Nostalgia21: I'm looking to buy an iphone 5s locked to sprint from ebay.. I know it supports 3g from what i've read on phone arena and others.. This 'chip unlock' thing really seems inexpensive but i don't really know what it means . has any one tried it?. Anticipating for replies pls.If the 5s is on iOS 7.1 and above, Chip will not work. Before now, there was no permanent unlock for iPhones on Sprint, that's the reason you will find them very cheap on auction sites like eBay but as i type this, There's unlock for Sprint and only few people are aware of this but it is very expensive. It cost 35,000 naira, buying such phone will only make sense if you are getting it for a very cheap price. |

holusormi: Hello allWell, iOS 7 is cool. Since you already know about jailbreak, you will only need to do some tweaking to make USSD work. You have nothing to fear but hope your iPhone isn't locked to Sprint USA. Chip and that Network ain't friends on iOS 7. |
