There's been lotz of argument as to who's d best footballer btw dis two lads. I jst came across smfin dat got mt attention and I felt I shud let it out. Couple mins after the commencement of the day's lecture, wamakko camp was turned into a state of disarray. Not really sure of what caused the state but from the info gathered, it was learnt that a soldier(name unknown) chased male kopas( in native sok voice) ) from where they stood during the course of the lecture while the female kopas where left dere (reason unknown) ) . As a result, one of the male korp challenged the soldier which led into a krazy state. also learnt that the soldier pursued the male kopa who tried to escape from him and in the process, the soldier pushed the male kopa down. The act made all other kopas most esp the males to revolt. It was almost turning into a kopa v soldier fight thanks to the quick intervention of the camp coordinator who helped calm the situation. The critical aspect is the inhuman behaviour of a soldier called (YAKUBU). It was learnt that he's fond of pouring water on kopas, strucking them with stick(Kondo) and even telling them to observe purnishments uncalled for. Also learnt that all d kopas don't like YAKUBU n they want him removed from the camp.Will provide more info once gotten.

Welcome to city of the caliphate, it's a nice place actually, most of u guys may want to stay after completion of nysc programme, getting a job here is not as competitive as getting one in the other parts of the country. Take it from someone who came to serve at sokoto batch c11 in a bank and was retained thereafter. The state is not as scary as southerners think, the only issue is distance from one's home town, I am a bini guy from Edo state for instance, dats 14hrs drive on road, so most times I take flight or use my personal car.
Mind u I don't intend spending my entire life here. Just wanna build a life and den redeploy to south or beta still Abuja,
Note that it's better to get a job here and transfer to another location in d future, than serving in South where job is far more difficult to get. Most of my friends in same batch c11 had jobs after nysc completion

My opinion though.

Yeah it is. Am a Batch B 2014. I camped there but had to redeploy cos of distance. Twas a cool experience travelling by road to the state. The camp ground is good. Only issue I had there was no alcohol! You've gotta smuggle it if ur the type that can't do without it.

Asides this, I wish you guys the best camp experience.
