Dont be surprised France would be edge out by Paraguay. There is something you guys need to know no favourite to win World Cup have ever won it except Brasil. Last World Cup it was brasil and France nobody gave Aregentina chance but Argentina won it. 2020 World Cup nobody gave France change to win it, all eyes were in Brasil and Germany but France won it. In2014 the favourite was Argentina and Brasil and Belgium but Germany won it. In the 2010 it was Brasil and England but Spain won it for the first time. And so on. Honestly, this round of 32 really changed my perspective of the world cup. Starting from S. Africa against Canada, then how Brazil narrowly survived (though I still think the Brazilian team is average), but then 2 heavyweights in Germany and Netherlands in just the 2nd knockout day, simply means teams now know that they are both 11 men on the pitch and don't need to fear the opponent's name or history.

One thing you should understand is that football has evolved. This is no more 1780 where Brasil and co will be whooping people 10:0.
