Thanks! You should redo the IELTS, trust me the listening is not that bad. I practiced for the listening via googling IELTS practice websites. I made sure I selected the websites that had the audio for the listening and it really helped. Practiced for 2 days and scored an 8 so believe me, you can also ace it. Goodluck!

@Lesgupniger, how would someone know or test the fertility of a soil? Are there local methods of doing that?

Having trees or no trees does not matter in choosing a land for agriculture,what matters is to know whether the soil is fertile for what you wanted to use it for or not.

You can apply manure preferably after 3 months of planting.The root will have been well established and will be ready to absorbs nutrient for further growth.
You don't need watering during the rainy season but you can water at least 2 times or 3times a week using irrigation or stream source during the dry season.

You said no fertilizer application in the first three months if one plants the hybrid sucker. When excatly can I apply fertilizer if I use the hybrid uscker? Secondly, how frequent and what duration does plantain farm need water right from the sucker plainting? Do you water once, twice or thrice a day? Or 2-3 times in a week or once or twice in a month? 2) What risks are involved in plantain farming business aside wind?
