"If you said I should enter APC, I want to join APC, and I didn’t say I will not join APC even now, but for what position?" - Kwankwaso.
Kwankwaso added: "In this country, who will tell us about the struggle to establish the APC? We are the ones who established the party. We are… pic.twitter.com/bGQnsWRD1z
seunmsg: Why should he support Atiku? Atiku was in the same party with him when he led a group of northern governors to work against his second term ambition in 2015. This was despite Jonathan’s several appeal to Atiku to pls support him. I still remember how Jonathan visited Atiku in the middle of the night some few days to the election and how Atiku refused to support him simply because he felt it was the turn of the north.
So, why should Jonathan step down his own ambition for Atiku when we all know that 2027 is still clearly the turn of the south?
So Atiku should support Jonathan who was at daggers drawn with Obasanjo?
naptu2: The Druk Gyalpo and Gyaltsuen (King and Queen of Bhutan) wave at the plane of the King and Queen of Thailand as they depart Bhutan. The King of Thailand is flying the plane.
seunmsg: Above is the exact transcribe of what El-Rufai said and below is my thought.
1. El-Rufai is nothing but a deceitful hypocrite who is trying to play all sides. He has been attacking the Tinubu presidency since the administration was barely a year in office and now he’s telling us that even four years is not enough for an administration to make an impact. So, why the hate against the Tinubu administration?
2. Despite El-Rufai’s hypocrisy, I agree with him nobody believes Amaechi and Peter Obi in their one term presidency promise. Apart from emotional Obidients, truth is no one in Nigeria is buying that nonsense. Definitely not the power hungry Northerners in the ADC coalition.
3. ADC is Atiku and the north’s SPV for a quick return to power in 2027. They have absolutely no interest in giving Peter Obi or any southerner the party’s ticket. And yes, El-Rufai has confirmed again that they want the power for eight years and not any four years. So, the best Obi can get is to be the Vice Presidential candidate for 8 years and nothing more.
Finally, I think it’s time for Peter Obi and his supporters to quit being emotional and get pragmatic. They either move out to another platform where Obi will contest and lose or they accept to be Atiku’s spare tyre in ADC and see where it goes. Head or tail, even One Term President (OTP), Peter Obi will not see
Obi can't get any platform outside ADC.
APC has taken over LP and PDP is wike's toy.
Even with the giants in ADC, see how APC is trying to destabilize them. Obi alone can't face the corrupt APC govt.
Being VP isn't a bad idea. Better than losing and still closer to influencing policies
helinues: Things are cheap in Nigeria, not just the oil. I read online yesterday that barbing in Ghana now is around 20GHC. Convert that amount to naira
I believe by now Hamas must have learnt their lessons and would never dare try what they did to Israel again. ..
But come to think of it,I so much love the way Israel took their time to press out every single drop of the remaining juice that was left in blokos of those terrorists Hamas and their supporters...
But in all of these, enough is enough........NO MORE KILLINGS...
PaChukwudi44: This headline is arrant nonsense. One idiot who is alone declares himself as ag interim chairman authourizes his personal assistant to release a statement and the headline is saying ADC?
MoneyMan5: You can see in the way MTN Nigeria have money to dole out to the super falcons, they cashed out big and generated over 1.5 billion dollars in revenue in just a single quarter.
This quarter most major companies in Nigeria are declaring record revenue and companies that declared losses when the reform Kickstarted, the companies that ran away from Nigeria would be regretting now.
What actually stunted Nigeria development was the inability of the government to maintain good policies for long, there's a saying in the Bible that says a man shall not live by bread alone, because of bread some Nigerians are gathering to usher in visionless, thieves and terrorists to send us backward. If Nigeria can maintain this economic reform it is only a matter of time before we become the top investment destination in Africa and I predict Nigeria GDP to be growing over 5% per year, it is already 3.8 this year.
Yes... Grease my elbow, you grease mine. They started making crazy money after somehow getting the Federal Govt to increase Telecoms tarrifs.
The loser? The Nigerian people who have to pay more.
The winner? South African people who received the record profits MTN is repatriation back home.
The biggest loser? The poor pro govt bots collecting 20k to defend and paint this as a win.
Incredible128: Which kind of reporting is this? The headline is somewhat deceiving it's put in such a way as if to say the south African media in general is praising Nigeria's economy while in actuality, it's MTN, a South African company that's doing the praising.
Not just MTN. It's MTN Nigeria O. Karl Toriola is the Yoruba CEO of MTN Nigeria....
There was this lady I was crazy about who said no sex till marriage.
