My Gionee P2(rooted, with cwm recovery and custom ROM) popped up this message on its screen some days ago: "SD card is damaged, try reformatting. All data on your card will be lost". The phone has since stopped recognizing the card, but it accepts other cards. And when I insert the card into another phone, it works perfectly.

Please, what steps should I take to resolve this, especially being able to make use of the cwm recovery and stock ROM? Please what should I do? Thanks.

Backup the files on the SD card(since it shows on other phones)
Then put it back in your phone and then format it...... Then restore files back✔

If you're on material ROM v3

Download material v3 official here

Boot into recovery
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik cache
Install zip

After that download material v4 mini here
(Install mega app from play store)

Click the link then it will prompt am option ..press yes it'll lead you to mega app and you can download

Also boot into recovery
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik cache
Then install zip

Then finally download material v4 beta here

Then flash v3 official patch
Then flash v4 mini
Then flash v4 beta.....
