A dslr camera can capture in RAW which means in post production, you can further edit whereas most phones capture in jpeg which is already compressed.
Another angle is that, most pictures captured on phone are just good for phone cuz of the phone small resolution, when you take them to pc or you try to print, they become blur cuz the dpi is low (probably 72ppi)

I'm sure you're aware that most phones shoots in raw too?


I've made a 12 x 18 inches image captured on phone and it came out well with every details intact

You're simply ignorant, ask if u don't know and stop displaying your ignorance publicly. A 10mp dslr camera will give u better picture quality, most esp in low light, than a 20mp camera phone for 2 reasons: 1. Interchangeable Lens 2. Hot shoe for External flash gun. These are d 2 major factors that determine picture quality n are lacking in a phone, n that's d reason u don't see photographers doing shoots or events coverage with a phone camera. Moreover, d price up there is subject to negotiation.
