Awkward moment at the halqaas of today, you see sisters in interesting jilbaab, socks, gloves, everything and brothers feel Maasha Allah. The rate at which we combine ours shoes with bags, and have a rhyme colours for our jilbaab is infact getting more.I am not here to condemn those colours combination, they are interesting seriously and infact has encouraged lot of people to have interest in jilbaab, but what I want emphasis on is our upstairs *UPSTAIRS * how would you feel to have seen a cute pretty lady and have expect she would be that excellent in other things and get to know she can't even spell*boy*,and to see such among our sisters of today is even more than worse.
Sisters let go back to book and learn,let learn more about our Deen, is it not embarrassing to have felt Maasha Allah for our physical appearance and brothers get to know your Suratul ikhlas is not even perfect in recitation, today is easy for us to go for London or executive materials in Aleshinloye stores, but very hard to take an Islamic text to read...is not haram to know the latest fashion trends or to know the best boutique, but what am saying is that for our dignity to be much more, our *UPSTAIRS *is very important, I have once asked a sister to give me a verse of hijab, I intentionally asked her, she was just humming like a bird and stylishly neglect answering the question.Brown khimar, brown socks, brown gloves, cream shoes and bag cannot even give a short admonition, and she is always presenting herself to various halqaas to show off combinations of coloured jilbaab... Subhaanallah
Most times we ask sister to give admonition at our various sisters circle, they start displaying hayaa, please what's the shyness to speak senses in front of your fellow uktees.Hey babe we ain't no more after your combinations anymore, they are sweet but we want your head(intelligency) to be more sweeter please!!!
As more as you learn to perfect your fashion styles, learn to perfect your wudoo and make a perfect salaah, go to to English Quran and check out tefseer, open the Seerah and see the history of the great women of Islam, when you are at sisters gathering, stand to be a model for others sisters in intelligency and in not colours combination of jilbaab alone.
I am not perfect to have said all above, I as well have long way to go, but it a reminder for all of us to reflect...BE A SISTER IN DEEN AND NOT ONLY THAT IN SEEING
I ask Allah to assist us in our endeavours and hold us firm in the path of light, and grant us beneficial knowledge...
