People have been scammed through agro investments too. Lots of that happened in Nigeria in 2020 and 2021. I myself lost some good money and we're still in court and all.

Sorry about that but it still doesn't make agriculture a scam.

The story can be true if the person is paid in Canadian dollars and also depending on some factors.
Know that in the case of the person been paid through Canadian dollars, that amount is not up to $600.

So if the employer is a big deal earning up to $5000 Canadian dollars monthly or more which is very possible, then $550 is not a difficult amount to pay the employee

The second factor that could determine the truth of this story which is doubtful is how big of a DEAL the employer really is in Canada
