The fluid level sensor swims in your water tank. When the water level is sinking the sensor switch turns on the connected water pump. Once the water tank is filled the float switches turns off again.

A float sensor detects the level of a liquid in a tank or container. It floats on top of the liquid surface and acts as a signal switch as the liquid level goes up or down.
