The road needs drainage and other auxiliary routes. That's too long of a stretch without adjacent roads. If criminals block the main highway, o ti lo. If there are issues that need repairs, what will be the alternate option or options...maybe they want to sell the lands there so estates can develop along the main road and create auxiliary routes. We need to do better planning.

Lagos-Ibadan has been congested, and there are no alternate roads even for short maintenance work. We need to do better and introduce tolls. Let private companies build faster routes and toll them, allowing others to use the longer free routes. Pick your choice.

The VC is the executive head of the institution. He’s the one that runs the school. The Chancellor is just a titular position. He doesn’t work there and he doesn’t really have a say over what happens in the school. Most times, it’s a prominent figure in the state like a popular politician, a popular king, or even a popular actor or Pastor; basically anyone who sets a good example for others. It’s just a ceremonial role, nothing to do with the running of the institution. You probably know them for other reasons but just don’t know they act as the chancellors of some institutions. For example, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja, Ooni of Ife, is the Chancellor of the University of Nigeria Nsukka.

Same as Bank Chairman and Bank Managing Director.

Because the VC is more active in the university. It's like MD and Chairman of a bank in nigeria, the MD is always more popular because they run the day-to-day transactions of the org compared to the chairman. You see or hear from the chairman in public once in a blue moon, the MD more or less reports to the council chaired by the chairman.
