You have budgeted some money to get a new device yeah? And you also know that “budgeting” is the easy part and now, you are down to the hard part … actually picking a device. I am also pretty confident that in picking this new device, you wouldn’t want to get anything mediocre. Sounds right yeah? Or am I wrong? Of course, I’m not. Why would you (or anyone, in fact) want to “throw away” money in such an economy? So, you’ve got the cash and you’re looking for a worthy device. One worth every single kobo of the money you’d be spending on it. Well, here, I’ve rounded up a worthy list of devices for you. “But why should I trust these devices,” you say? You should get to know me a little then. Apart from being a tech junkie, I am the one most of my peers and relations (even some “unrelations”) seek advice from whenever they are about to get a device. I’ve noticed one thing over time. These folks do not come when they have “enough” money, they come to me only when they are cash-strapped. When the money is there in abundance, of course, you can pick your dream phones (the Galaxy S8 and iPhone 7 them). But when you are limited by a certain amount of money, you’d do your best to ensure anything you end up picking is the best thing you could have picked. Time and time again, I’ve recommended that “best thing they could have picked” to them and 95% of the time they are more than happy they made the choice. The remaining 5%, well, sh!t happens. Down below, I have aggregated some of the best smartphones (mostly Android) you can pick today for under ₦70,000 ₦70,000 too high a budget for you? Don’t worry, there is specifically a section dedicated to devices under ₦50,000. Here, quick links … Under ₦50,000 | Under ₦70,000 Best Android Phones in Nigeria Under ₦50,000 Although the majority of devices in this price range are still shamelessly logging around just 1GB of RAM and batteries with capacities less than 2500 mAh, there still exists some champs which went against the grain. These champs are what I’m presenting you with. Let’s look at champ one … 1. Infinix Hot 4. Quick Details. The Shame stops there though because, for the smartphones listed below, there would be most certainly nothing to be ashamed of. These devices possess the premium look and feel of some of their high-end counterparts and although most of their designs will not win awards, you’ll still definitely reap the rewards of carrying them around. No long talk, see them … 1. Lenovo K6 Power Quick Details. Rumour has it that Infinix is prepping to release the Note 4 an upgrade for the Note 3 and they plan to borrow features from the big S. According to the unconfirmed leaks, the Infinix Note 4 would have two models, the first share some similarities with Infinix’s old design. An overhaul that bears resemblance to Samsung’s offering. Notice the curved glass back? Another important addition is this: Yes, the new Note 4 is rumoured to come with a Pen – an X–Pen, No words on the specs, but they have started pushing out teasers. What do you think about the Note 4?? Original Article: https://techipulse.com/infinix-note-4-2/

GOOGLE INTRODUCE THE LITE VERSION OF ANDROID OS CALLED ANDROID GO The difference between this and Android One is, where Android one was the overall package, Android Go is basically the lightweight version of Android that your Phone manufacturers (Looking at you, Transsion Holdings) can install on low-budget phones. By low-budget, I mean phones with 1GB of RAM or less. With Android Go, all the Playstore apps will be modified to ensure that they are less than 10MB in size (This is where YouTube Go comes into play) and can support devices with slow processors. There are lots of types of power banks on the market and the reason or that is because there are lots of companies that now sell power banks. The main thing with so many companies is that there’s quite a lot of innovation that happens because of the competition between companies. As a result, there are lots of types of power banks to choose from. In this article, I’ll be explaining the parts that make a power bank and how to select a great quality charger for yourself among the many types. IT ALL STARTS WITH THE PORTABILITY LOW CAPACITY Power banks that have low power capacities are the ones that are used the most. That’s because they use very few batteries. In fact, low capacity power banks have power capacities of 3,000mAh to 5,000mAh are ones that use just a single battery. That results in them taking form factors such as cylinders or Slim shapes that are the same sizes as smartphones which means that they can fit into your pocket. The main set back is that these Mini power banks are meant for smartphones only because they can charge them once or twice to full power. Charging high capacity devices like tablets with Mini power banks doesn’t make sense as they’ll only be able to charge halfway or even less than that. HIGH CAPACITY The other main type of power banks are the high capacity ones. Having a high capacity definitely has an equivalent exchange as these power banks use more batteries and that makes them larger and heavier. Although the benefits definitely outweigh the setbacks and that’s because the high power capacities are able to charge smartphones and tablets multiple times; even after that, the power banks can still have power left to use. They also use many USB charging ports which means that you can charge lots of devices at once. OTHER TYPES OF POWER BANKS Other than power banks that are based on power capacity, there are ones that have special attributes to them that make them useful. For example, there are ones that have Solar panels and they’re able to recharge using the sun. These Solar power banks are also Rugged power banks most of the time, and what that means is that they’re able to withstand rough treatment as they’re shockproof and they’re also waterproof if they have a covering that goes over the USB charging ports. INPUT CHARGING Input or also known as Recharging is something that matters just as much as the charging that your devices receive. That’s because if you’re using a high capacity power bank, then you want it to be ready to use as soon as possible. Most power banks that have a high power capacity use fast charging tech like USB-C or Quick Charge for a faster recharging speed. With that said, if they do feature special tech like that, then you’re going to have to use a Quick Charge USB wall charger with them. There are also power banks that use 2 Input ports for double the recharging speed. Read More https://techipulse.com/best-power-bank-for-your-phone/

Samsung has a good browser, scratch that! Samsung’s browser, in my opinion, is one of the best Android browsers out there. Take my word for it, it’s super fast, ultra smooth scrolling, and it supports extensions and ad-blockers. With that said, the guys at Samsung out of the goodness of their hearts have decided to let others experience all that awesomeness by opening the browser to non-Samsung devices. I was able to install it on the Infinix Hot S2 Pro using this link from APKMirror https:///mxBYRc For those who still need the Google sync with Chrome, not to worry, you can download a Chrome desktop extension to sync bookmarks with this Other features include an integrated QR code reader much like Chrome, and Physical Web support, ability to view 360-degree videos without a VR device, a pop-up player similar to the Picture-In-Picture mode found on iOS, the ability to automatically compare prices to Amazon when shopping online, and others.
